As a farmer's daughter, I was always taught that an eyeball tree should not have teeth. Grandpa insists its the sign of an parasite or infection. Your tree was so realistic that I had to actively restrain myself from reaching into the screen to remove the teeth and apply the poison to keep them from growing back.

i think the nice pink tint added a sense of realism. as a city girl, i walked through parks quite often, and this could easily replace one of those trees.

Thank god you did the bons-eye joke because I would have never forgiven you if you hadn't. Also, I hope I'm not the only one reminded of the last page of "I have no mouth and I must scream." Like, I know this isn't exactly how Ted is described but it still looks very close to what I imagine AM would twist his body into.

As a fellow youtube crafter, I appreciate that you went into a little more detail on some of the techniques you use than usual! Such as adding retarder to your paints for blending paint layers better, adding flow improver to your red wash and popping the bubbles with a heat gun. Will definitely be trying these in the future.

I feel like if this was in a game, it wouldn't be an enemy, but a passive mob, or an NPC, it seems like it would make a nice pet. If this was a real creature, I would want to have one as a pet. Also love the artwork, its always a pleasure to watch your videos.

very well-timed since I was considering getting a bonsai tree after discovering my name originates from a tree and I wanted to grow a little bonsai version as a tree-me. Now after watching this video I can't stop imagining a "tree-me" just being a screaming mass of flesh protruding from a plant pot. Thanks Adam, I despise this greatly. Keep it up ☺

@@blancaguibertmadrigal8953I think the other person meant it kindly, as in, making freaky things 😅. Given that they started with "God speed", lol. But these videos have also almost made me want to try them out, especially with using foil to get the general positions right and then adding detail. Never would've thought of that, and sculpting only with clay would be so difficult. I already have enough stuff related to hobbies, though, but maybe I can make something for a present or two using these methods.

This turned out amazing. In the beginning I kept thinking it reminded me of Migi from Parasyte: The Maxim (Which, if you haven't seen would give you some cool shape ideas). Such a cool idea though, I have been too ADHD to properly grow a Bonsai but making a sculpture of a custom one from my universe would be crazy fun and still in my wheelhouse. I think you just gave me some fun ideas for how to decorate my next livingroom table ♥
