I made a FORTUNE scrapping beached ships in Ship Graveyard Simulator!

I'm back at the largest ship graveyard in the world and today I will be taking on one of the most dangerous jobs in the world as I play Ship Graveyard Simulator! This is part 2 where I'll be tearing down and scrapping massive beached shipwrecks and turning them into scrap metal and major profit!

Remember you can (normally) make more money by crafting resources in the furnace. As an example, near the beginning when you sold everything but the blues and gold, the oil was selling for 10 dollars each but kerosene was selling for 35 each so if you converted your oil into kerosene you'd make 15 dollars more per kerosene than if you just sold the oil. You do have to keep an eye on prices though, sometimes the materials you can craft are not worth as much as what you have to sacrifice to make them. The prices fluctuate every day.

If you beat the chest and locker door after you open them it's free xp. If you come across stuff that doesn't drop anything it still gives xp. It's also a good idea to destroy crates cause sometimes there are chest or loot boxes behind them.

At the time I'm writing the comment, the ship is still going strong and certainly not scrapped! (btw the game devs just flipped the image to avoid copyright stuff)

i loved the last episode so much I went ahead and got the game and reached the endgame in a single day 😂 my tips so far: - Break everything breakable with the hammer, you get xp for destroying things even if they don't drop resources. - You can upgrade any skill fully anytime, focus on getting master locksmith early because master safes bring good money. Next focus on all skill paths that upgrade your storage. Everything else can wait until after. - As soon as you hit tier 3 shop get the Zipline, it saves tons of time (there is no fall damage so Ziplines can help reach top levels for multiple runs of looting)

Also remember to get your exp upgrades. It will make your hammer stronger, more inventory space in both your car and backpack, and occasionally double materials from smashing things

Once you get really in the game and make big salvage hauls, forget storing it in boxes. You don't have nearly enough space. Personally I just made individual piles for each resource and dump everything on the beach. Only downside there is that you can't sleep anymore as that deletes everything laying on the ground. Also do the jobs, they don't have a time limit on them so you can always pick the best paying one and make some dosh.

For the bigger ships too, if you have enough workers (3 and 6 for each side) You can actually tear open the sides by going up to those large winches on the beach. It gives you a ton more resources.

RCE I love this video, you can add more boos or find a mod that adds it to every hammer swing :) BTW you should spend your level up points to increase inventory and stuff, it makes whacking ships a lot easier and profitable

Hey RCE, if you like this game you really should check out Hardspace Shipbreaker. Same basic premise, but with space ships and run away dystopian capitalism. There's even story.

Yeah he really should try Hardspace, while ship graveyard sim is pretty fun, I think that Hardspace has significantly better gameplay. I just wish I could get that hammer for my Lynx equipment to smash all the things!

I love the idea of a Nokia being a reusable explosive detonator… lol Strap it to a block of C4, detonate from a safe distance and watch an entire ship get annihilated and you walk to the center of the crater and pick up the Nokia, brush it off and put it back in your pocket for later as you sift through the decimated remains of a ship… just a twisted heap of steel and iron made unrecognizable by the force of that explosion! Meanwhile the Nokia rings in your pocket and you read a text asking what you want for lunch.. lol

RCE, look into "Hardspace: Shipbreaker". It's the same concept, but with Spaceships in Zero-G. That comes with a lot of working hazards, but it's super fun.

I'd say it's actually better. It satisfies your urge to salvage the whole ship instead of just picking up some items and letting the rest of the ship evaporate. Also no hassle with limited inventory.

So I think you should play some "Next Space Rebels". It is heavy on reading and conversations (some are dull, some are interesting) but the real selling point is you can either for yourself or others design the worlds strongest rocket out of junk and launch it as high or far as you can. I never thought of it before but ever since I watched your channel I can't help but pointing out the phallic shapes everywhere. Rockets need no explanation.

Brass is not copper and aluminum. That makes what's called alumabrass. Brass is zinc and copper. Bronzes tin and copper. They could have used a zinc anodes that are on the outsides of ships to help keep the steel from rusting.

They also have steel shattering like ice, I-beams that are apparently solid copper, and I think I saw an electrical box drop cast iron. I'm rather doubting that they were overly concerned with realism.

After watching the first episode, i bought the game, im now lvl 54. Remember you can upgrade your tools andall that by clicking "U". You get more inventory space and more space in ur truck, unluck new abilities. You can also upgrade ur management and utilities with the "U" button, at the top you can change what type of things you want to upgrade.

I just like it how easy it is in games to work with metal. I spent 3 months with torch just cutting alot of metal apart. And i mean it was just metal, not even in a ship. Just cutting. You basicly work for minimum wage to cut 12 tons of metal everyday. ( Thanks Covid-19). But i do love your videos, keep up the good work!!

Game looks decent fun, but my only compliant is the lack of actual shipbreaking. I would rather recycle the entire ship rather than the small bits and pieces of it. Might as well get back into Hardspace: Shipbreaker.
