1:11 Yes there is, you can make a separate costume for the hitbox, change the sprite to that costume when it should detect if it touches something then change it back before it renders the hitbox costume so you can only see the balloon but the hitbox still works

or just have all the sprites code in the hitbox and turn the ghost effect to 100, it will still work wonderfully. Make sure your rendered sprite still shows.

how to change hitbox: 1. Create a costume 2. Rename the costume to "hitbox" (optional) 3. Edit the costume like how would you like to the hitbox be 4. When doing collisions set the costume to the hitbox costume 5. After the collision check always set coustume back to what it was before If you made the steps on the right order because ur not damb, done!

Scratch seem simple, but some insane guys made 3D environments (Bamboozle, for example), a multi-player game of over 100 players (Griffpatch), and a lot of incredible other projects, so it's not that easy to master. But it's still cool!

Try TurboWrap, it is like Scratch, but with some cool functions like locking the mouse at the centre of the screen, built-in (need to choose the extension first) physics, bitwise, bases and even import custom extensions to your TurboWrap project. (But games made in TurboWrap cannot be imported into Scratch)

There’s a lot of similarities between python and Godot, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to adjust. I think you should start by learning very basic things like how to move a character around. Build on it one small step at a time. If you get comfortable reading and learning from the documentation, you can do just about anything. Learning the software itself may be very difficult too. There’s a ton of menus and windows and it’ll probably get intimidating. Just try to stay patient and learn at your own pace. I never watched a brackeys tutorial, but I heard he’s really good and he just made a couple Godot videos

you can either make your sprite follow your hitbox or if you want it packed in one just switch to the hitbox, once your done with collisions you can switch the costume to the actual thing you will see on screen, there is one more way but its a bit complicated

to change a sprites hit box, you have to change its costume to a bigger or smaller one, check for whatever hit box stuff you have to do, then switch it back to the original costume in the same line of code. Since it’s the same line of code it won’t actually flicker it will just show the costume that was last put on
