I have sculpted, mostly in the late sixties, small portraits like Lennon and Lincoln. This dude (I forget his name) can sculpt like there is zero distance between his imagination and his excellent hands. I went from sculpting to guitar in 1969. I taught myself woodworking since the eighties, including a hundred musical instruments. In late 2019 I was losing my mind what with the Ritalin Kids moving into this building so I got busy. I had to build a Japanese style shimisen using NOTHING but the materials in my tiny flat. 99 days later (I had to purchase tuners) I finished the instrument and it effin' rocks. I built three Japanese (!) style shakuhachi (bamboo flute) in the early 2000s and I don't know how to play them. I used to when I played everyday. I purchased a little 6-hole "cane flute" online for 12 bucks whereupon I taught myself to imitate, quite impeccably, a real shakuhachi. I love working with bamboo, as do many peoples worldwide. I love this channel.
