Just some tips, or hot keys if you will just to speed everything up, you may know this, but Ctrl + G groups multiple parts, ctrl + D duplicates the selected part(s) or models(s) or anything. And to make placing trees easier, just go into the toolbox, and sort to plugins and download the brush tool plugin and insert your tree(s) and change the settings to your liking and activate the cursor and basically draw trees around the map

Really good video and editing, but you should probably increase the volume and clarity of the mic and turn the music down a tad bit. Amazing! But players could abuse the PlayButton, so what you need to do is you have to put a Bool in replicatedstorage, check if its false if it is, then teleport the player and put it to true, and once you die it goes to false :)

Small developer here! Love the concept, tho players could abuse the start button to teleport to the top when they fall, I would personally implement a round system and teleport each player to a random plate. I would also disable player collisions and for monetization, some troll features like a limited amount pushes, that can be refilled with robux. Overall, this is a pretty good concept and for someone with close to no experience at all, this is really good!

Hello! Im a little roblox modeler, here to leave some tipps and tricks! First; Never change the movement number, keep it on a solid number you are confident with. >Same with rotate, i'd recommend 25° degress, thats what i use commonly (Third edit; It will make everything not so smooth, and not everyone is satisfied, also sorry if i accedentaly offended you...) Second; Use ctrl + [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], for using tools [1: Select] [2: Move] [3: Scale] [4: Rotation] [5: Transform] Third; The new selection box from roblox studio is a bit hard to scale properly [Example: If you want 2 items exact hight] Thats why i recommend the old selection box, its easier with it, but if you dont want to, its alright! Fourth; Some plugins are lifesavers! Like Archemedies, F3X building tool If you think the name fits to something you really need help with, its better taking it. Saves time in development :D Fifth; using ctrl and the [1] [2] [3] [1]; you can select multiple items and models [2]; You can move multiple items and models [3]; you can scale multiple items and models And the last tip; Locking some models like the baseplate is useful, a part in youre way you dont want to select is annoying sometimes Using the lock option, you can lock parts so they cant be selected, the same progress can be reversed when clicking on a locked part while having the lock tool active More tipps and tricks i cant explain good enough, will probably come on my socials, or something like that, also i recommend watchin tips and tricks from a youtuber called RoBuilder, great guy with great tipps and tricks (or dev hacks like he said it) i'l leave a link to watch that video that helped me alot (because i cant use blender cause stupidity) Well yeah, i hope those tipps and tricks can help on youre way becoming a developer of the roblox community! You only have to go to view, on the studio tabs UI Then you going to look out for Selection Style, then click on it and a little window below it pops up, you going to have 3 choices The currently you got in the video, is Outlines Bounding Boxes is the one i recommended, wich is a box around the entire model The option called "Both" are outlines and Bounding Boxes mixed

Hi great video! and btw on the timestamp 5:12 where you forgot to put the script, you could've just made a script copy it and highlight every "Platform" and paste into selected. this makes it so that the script would be pasted on every platform rather than you redoing the layout because of a forgotten script.

​@@fourestroblox Kinda late here but it would also be super worth learning a for loop to connect every single tile via a single script rather than having a script instance in every single tile. Its pretty easy to implement as long as you familiarize yourself with ":GetChildren()", a for loop (theres 2 types and you should learn both), and the touched function which you clearly are by now. Also helps that you have your workspace very organized for someone making a first game. Also thought I should add that I second the great video in the original comment lmao
