I did try the game, I never even encountered the monster because I just wandered in the dark without knowing what direction to go in, then I was kicked. It could definitely have been a good game if you put some more time in it, definitely a neat concept

the game is broken as hell in multiplayer, the monster doesn't do anything, there are invisible platforms at the start of the game and only the first person that joined the game can interact with the buttons. Also you left the “admin command“ hotkeys free for everybody to use. z is for resetting the money, x is for gaining money and c is for gaining fast walking speed.

I’m working on a Minecraft world based off Roblox tycoons that’s vaguely this premise, after you buy the tenth dropper it gives you the option to by “it” for $200’000 (double the previous dropper) and when you purchase it the music changes and nothing changes but you are now given the option to purchase weapons, I think you can see where it’s going from here

It would be cool if "it" basically turns you into a serial killer. It would create some goofy scenarios when playing with friends, but if you don't have voice chat, it could be really creepy.

I think it would be scarier if it was made as a "boring, time-wasting job sim" with occasional horror events and monster encounters randomly sprinkled in. Basically "Voices of the Void", but roblox tycoon. Because the "suddenly jumpscare when buying an upgrade" doesn't really scare the player or make them anxious of what might happen next, it startles them and makes them go "oh, another bait and switch horror game". Which can ruin any other attempt to catch them off-guard. As cheesy as it is, nothing can be scarier than someone's imagination, so play into it: add maybe an "entity radar" or something and present it as to keep track of player's stuff like vehicles (vehicles are popular in tycoons anyway), but suddenly another dot appears on it. Boom, instantly the player has to think if it's hostile or not, and even more so: what it is? And so their mind starts wandering to more horrifying concepts leading to paranoia. On top of that, give incentive for players to leave the "safety bubble" a.k.a. their plot/tycoon, so they can't just ignore the information that something or someone else is there

Instead of having the game kick you u should make it so a cutscene starts where the monster is looking at you kind of like in the thumbnail and after some seconds of silence say something like "i caught you.". This would be nightmare fuel and make the game 10x scarier 💀🙏

Suggestion: Every rebirth adds creepier stuff to the map. Or it sends you to a place with a lot of fog with the monster, and if you survive for 60 seconds, you fully rebirth. And maybe every 3 rebirths it spawns another monster.

You should make it to where instead of it having to touch you, make a radius around it so when it gets close, you see a slight glimpse of it but you don't get too see the full thing, so you just see an eye or nose or something close to you ( in the light around you ) get light up, but you don't get to see the full thing, so you see it for a second then you are just gone.

played this just now and was so confused by what happened in the game i watched this to figure it out, I was walking in the exact opposite direction from where the monster spawns in and never saw it i only heard it and assumed there was a time limit to find the button and cause of the reason being caught i assumed the button made a shelter and it would be a big monster above that if it saw you you would get kicked (like a game of hide and seek)

Imagine a multiplayer tycoon horror game where you are on a train. And you upgrade it. You could leave it to collect fuel from like the woods or abandoned houses/sheds. But thats the danger, at night there is way more fuel and supplies but theirs something feels wrong. Theres something in the woods. Watching you progress. And at randkm if you happen to run out of fuel. It will come out. And start hunting down your team.

You could make a very simple game like that where maybe instead of a fuel system, it’s more of a story where the first half plays like a basic train tycoon but then you get a low fuel warning and it’s already night time (like maybe make the daytime gradually progress with the tycoon) and then it turns into some horror game where you aim to hide from the monster. Maybe even do that in between the tycoon. Like have a regular day system where at night you must find a spot to hide quickly

@byteblox100 that's a good idea that would work, but I would personally want to keep a scavenge for materials to craft system. Like you gather enough iron and wood, you could make defense for your train cart or just add different carts (of your choice.) Having multiple kinds of carts would add a feeling of risk. You could get a cart with a watch tower to see if the monster (or more supplies) is nearby. But then you wouldn't have as much of a secure cart. This adds a bit of replayability where you go back and test which one works the best.
