I made a scratch game without using the Green Flag, forever, change x by 10, touching mouse-pointer, and the If block.
This is probably the hardest challenge I've ever done on scratch 😭

Useful tip: the(x) mod (y) block returns the remainder of (x) / (y) . E.G. 34/5=6.8 so 30mod5=4 because 34 (not divisible by 5) -4=30 (divisible by 5) if (x)/(y) has no decimal then (x)mod(y) will be 0

The mod block is super useful if you want to warp the values of variables. If you want a more detailed explanation then I have to warn you: NERD ALERT DOWN BELOW CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK Mod, short for modulo in mathematics, is just like division, but instead of returning the quotient, it returns the remainder. Example: 5 / 2 = 2 and 1 remainder 5 mod 2 = 1(it gives out the remainder) If you want to see the warping, see it like this. 0 mod 3 = 0 1 mod 3 = 1 2 mod 3 = 2 3 mod 3 = 0 (it warped back) 4 mod 3 = 1 5 mod 3 = 2 6 mod 3 = 0 (it warped back)

You could have used the mod block with the timer, though things would likely start lagging after awhile. I think I'm gonna make a better mod block for my god-like calculator in scratch (500000+ digests of precision baybeee, WOO!) You can also make a custom hitbox for any sprite by detecting his position on the screen while using equations & variables to make a custom hitbox. It's how line-based programmers do things. (Then you said that'd be a pain, and yeah, it kinda is, but it's not quite as difficult as you might think)

You van use the mod block to make variables loop, for example: Set [i] to : (mod: (i), 4) when you increase the "i" variable, nothing changes, until it reaches the number four, and then it makes it zero again hope this helps:)

So, my blocks are: When i receive Name Entry Forever switch costume to (costume # mod 3) next costume

the 'mod' block repeats something but will loop over again after it reaches a certain point. Example: " Next Costume mod 16 " It means the sprite will go to the next costume but if the costume number reaches 16, It starts a new loop and costume 1.
