Anytime I visit a lake or river I like to clean up the trash/lost debris and if a thing is interesting enough I keep it. Not even anything of significant value, just stuff like fishing lures or a really interesting rock. I have an organizer with sections specifically to store these little trash trinkets. In other facets of my life, I play D&D and collect dice sets. My group has called me a magpie on many occasions because of it. To top it all off, my patronus on Pottermore is a magpie. So yeah, I guess I've kept my affinity for shiny things.
