I made a VR Game in 7 DAYS!

Making a Virtual Reality Video Game in 7 Days - what can I achieve in just a week? With the recent announcement of Unreal Engine 5, game design and development is fast becoming an incredible skill to have. What better way to practice, and test yourself, than to force yourself to meet a deadline?

This is a great little game. Works perfectly with Windows Mixed Reality apart from snap turning. I only wish there were one or two more lines from the narrator at the end to provide closure.

Hi, would you advice using Unreal For making Desktop VR experiences? Can you develop VR experience like yours on Oculus Quest with Link? Did you have to write C++ code, while making your game? Congratulation for the game!

Wait you made this in a week? I mean yes it is a small project but it made fairly big waves in the VR world you do realize this, don't you? Everybody who has legit interest in VR as media and does some little research on his own stumbles on this little piece of software. Up until now I though it was made by a small studio not a one man show, let alone done in a week.

Hi Tim, Thanks so much for writing :) I think this might be my favourite message about ReMind :) I didn't realise that the game had been noticed, but I am really glad that a few have :) It might be one of my favourite things that I've ever made. And yes, I put the game together in a week - I used the house environment as a base (that I had made a couple of weeks before, for general practice), but all of the interactive assets, and many of the later environment areas, were modelled during that one week, alongside the programming etc. It was quite intense, and I'm not sure I could output that much every week, but it was a lot of fun! Thanks again for playing, and for the kind comment :) I hope I'll be able to bring some of ReMind's atmosphere into my current project!
