Shorts are getting really popular recently, but the most important thing for getting views is how popular you are. When I discovered I could trigger organic growth after getting first 1000 subscribers (by using a little bit of Fame- ster), my life got a lot easier and my Shorts channel exploded. It’s amazing Matt! The big Q will always be how you can monetize this knowledge though. Current RPM for shorts is around $0.02. Even with 33mln views that’s 1-2k bucks. For the sake of AD revenue it’s not worth the hassle. However for the sake of promoting your long for content it could be a game changer, especially considering the new feature that you can link your long form content to your shorts now. Moreover if you convert long form views into digital assets with affiliate marketing that’s a real 3-level game! Excited to see where it goes.

Just came to see this video after several days again and it's so nice to see so many supportive and positive comments. But Im surprised about some...which are pretty full with negativity (also regarding price of this new product). Of course everyone has right to tell constructive polite feedback/critique, but I think its unfair to put out such negativity towards Matt. If someone who wrote it reads this, or someone who is about to write something similar - please dear people know that you can check all videos Matt has here, there is so much completely free info, these vidos easily could have been made as paid courses..but they are not. All this info is so helpful for begginers and if you at this moment cannot afford more expensive tools. It is not that without advanced tools you can't make your KZbin channel! Matt has shared so much info in all this channel that you can have way more info then he had when he started! Its for free. Use it. But not all products can be free because of huge costs to create and maintain them. Would you sell for 1 something what costed 1000 for you to make it? Probably not. And please actually listen carefully what Matt says in his videos before jumping in conclusions and putting it out. It will help a lot.. Often people put negativity out on others because of feeling bad themselves, or because they are hurting, and I am sorry for that..but if so, please know puting it out to someone who only wants good for you, never brings healing you need, it just makes it worse. Try to see and appreciate how much valuable content Matt has placed in this channel for you, whoever reads this. Try to see all good there is in this channel, work on yours and things will get better.
