It makes me so sad to know this gem (genuinely seems like the best creative map I've ever seen btw) will probably never have many players because fortnite instead pushes low-effort maps like pits and red vs blues. Despite that, it's clearly a passion project that holds special value. The journey of making it seems like the real reward here. I used to love making maps like this (on much smaller scales), though I was never very good at it. But the process of making these maps was the best experience I ever had on fortnite, even if most never got published or even finished. Funnily enough, I also made an 80s Cali based map with inspiration mainly from Season 9 and always listened to songs just like these while working on it lol. I used to also see many maps like this one that would inspire me to work on my own. If I saw this back in like 2019-2022, I would have immediately hopped in creative and started making my own. I also wanna give you huge props for doing this all on Creative 1.0. Ever since UEFN released, it feels like original creative died. It was a double edged sword because it allowed for maps with really cool, new stuff, but only people with PCs and game engine engine experience could use it. Creative 1.0 maps dying caused me to just drop creative entirely, especially since it barely even gets updates anymore. All things said, this is one of the coolest things I've seen on this game and I'll be sure to play this on launch. (Sorry for the immense yap sesh 💀)

Dude, this is seriously radical, and there are so many ideas and possibilities! A couple weapon/item ideas that popped into my mind while watching include: - Roller Blades This would be an awesome mobility item! It could let you accelerate greatly while sprinting, and maybe it could even reduce all fall damage - Rubiks Cube You could throw and it would solve itself, exploding after a couple seconds into lots of colors - Keytar I imagine this would be a melee weapon, and after enough hits to increase your "Swag" (or something like that) you could release a powerful barrage of electric notes - Laser Pixel Blaster Exactly what it sounds like lol maybe it could have a cool perk or mechanic though - CD Boomerang Ok I have a cool idea for a mechanic for this one: It would pierce through enemies (damaging them of course) and upon returning, if it hits the same enemy again, it damages them again for a critical hit! - Radical Shades I think it would be cool if this let you see all enemies below 50 health or at least indicate where they are in some way - Surfboard If you could perform tricks in the air for some sort of bonus or boost, that would be super cool - Boombox Tunes Place it down and it acts as a turret that would make you Groove when standing in its radius, but while grooving, it heals and gives shield (one at a time)
