yeah literally accurate af for me too. Because of my mind making so many ideas that I tend to use the initial ones because either A. I found something better or B. I found a similar concept that can fit it better or in a sense it goes so far into the zone that the original idea is now a completely different one altogether which honestly is an disadvantage of myself lelz. Too much ideas that can't even see the light of day even.

i love the 3d world masks i made a few hard levels mostly revolving around thwomps and the last 2 i made, after masks were added, i love the masks over indication i dont think is an issue but i reckon that maybe my levels would be classed as over indicated. i just like coin lines

Coins are the best indicators in my opinion because it feels good to get a coin, the point of a Mario Maker level should be to make the player feel good, and coin indicators are great at this

Why do people sometimes make a "Z" on their Maps with platform rails?

A “Z” indicates a spin jump. I can’t find the time stamp but he explained it in the video at some point. It’s important when there is a blind jump that requires a spin jump, otherwise the player wouldn’t know to hit Z.

I do have an idea for goomba mask. Since icicles, th wimps and pink creepers don’t move when you are wearing a mask, you can force them to lose the mask (via other masks, or damage) That activates the enemies. (I’m no kaizo level creator, so you go ahead.

I dunno how this'd work, but one theory craft way to use the goomba mask that might work is to have the goomba mask on, then replace it with another mask to force an enemy to detect you, like for example, doing standard platforming with thwomps above, wall jump into a happy meal, spin to dodge the thwomp that got activated and land on top, or something I dunno. Just something with controlling when an enemy detects you would be cool

You should set it up so you need the goombas to get keys from notebooks behind bouncers/one way gates, that way if you kill the goombas you need to restart. You could then use the free space since the level no longer needs to be 1 block high to make it even longer.
