I Made an R-Rated Godzilla Fight Animation

UPDATE: I changed the title because I've been seeing the video being shared or reposted under some variation of "R-rated Godzilla" instead of its original title (Godzilla Deals with 4 Kaiju), and this might make it easier for people to find the original video. A more accurate title would be "I made a Godzilla animation that people kept calling R-rated."
Truth is, this is a stupid title because I'm not even entirely sure what would constitute as an R-rated Godzilla film, since my country doesn't use the American rating system. We also have different standards of certifying content. The closest thing to an R-rating we have is "ages 16+" and "ages 18+". Certain kaiju films, like Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla X Kong: A New Empire were all rated 16+ here, so I guess that technically already makes them very close to R-rated.
This animation was meant to be simple and short. I made it so that if you ever feel overwhelmed by life's hardships, you can give it a quick watch to let off some steam. Think that you are Godzilla and his foes are your troubles, and imagine yourself beating them with the same swiftness and efficiency as he beats down his own enemies.
Sadly, this sentiment proved to be painfully poignant and relevant, since unknown to me at the time, shorty after I began working on this video, my dear Grandpa passed away. And since then, I too have felt like being under assault from all sides. I haven't been close to him, but his loss still weighed me down horribly.
I rarely share personal details publicly because I like to keep these videos separate from real life matters. But I thought this is an appropriate occasion to share at least some insight, if only to let people know why some videos take so long to make. If you're not interested in that and you're just here for the imaginary monsters, you can stop reading here.
My family fell apart over a decade ago, and what used to be a loving and expansive community of relatives splintered into a bunch of detached, resentful, self-absorbed, adversarial groups. Since then, after way too much loss, family members burning bridges, digging up old grievances and extremely sensitive secrets to drive even more wedges between each other, I felt lost. All enthusiasm left me and I spent years suppressing emotions and refusing to express any kind of joy. Nothing excites or enthuses me anymore, and it's been like that for nearly a decade. At least making fan art and videos of subjects I was interested in gave me something to focus on.
I tried to hold onto whatever still remained of my life, but any time I reached out to other relatives, events pulled us farther apart. It was good that after several years of detachment and constant worries about the rest of the family, I got to visit my Grandparents a couple of times. But, like I said, old hostilities bubbled to the surface and struck down just as I tried to reconnect and separated us until it was too late. I can't get over how even this minor effort I made to put aside old family drama and simply be with my loved ones after missing out on so many years... even this was denied of me.
So I apologize that even this short video took so long to make. I was more disorganized and unfocused than usual and struggled with the most basic things. I made so many errors and had to re-animate, re-time and re-render parts of it for weeks. Rather than a fun, quickly made, energetic animation, this video became a tiresome, torturous burden that I just wanted to finish. And if my other uploads seem even messier, more sporadic and unfocused than usual, now you'll know why.
Sorry to anyone still reading this that I poured all of this on you, especially if any of you are struggling with similar issues. I didn't mean to open up any wounds, I just wanted to open myself up a little after all these years of not saying much.

Your videos are usually the ones that I click on first, and not just because it's Godzilla. The quality of animation, the layered characterization, and fantastic choreography all lends itself to the passion that you, the animator, have put into your work. I'm sorry about your family and your grandfather. I think it's an admirable thing that you tried to reconnect, even when it wasn't to be. I really loved how Godzilla can regenerate which is his powerful ability that he scooped his hand to the building to scoop off glass just to shove his hand into Ghidorah's throat and pulled it out, and blast Ghidorah's body to exploded to bits. He burned alot from the explosion but regenerate back to normal so fast. He fought like he's not afraid of death, well clearly he hates pain.

Thank you for your kind wishes. I wish I could see some prospect for things improving, but it feels like every time I try to have an optimistic outlook, things push me down harder (as it has happened since this video was uploaded). Working on these videos for years was at least both a distraction and a goal, but they have become harder to make and I see diminishing returns for my efforts. But hopefully you and my other valued viewers still have some fun with them. There's over an hour's worth of unfinished animations I made during the darkest times, mainly between 2015 and 2021. I want to finish them up and share them because always working on new animations is too draining for me right now.

Thank you for the kind wishes. It's been both enlightening and heart-wrenching to read the video comments, seeing people express both supportive words and also divulge their own personal problems. It's sad that many of us in the fanbase suffer from similar issues. I hope they'll all find more joy in their lives and that I can keep providing some kind of entertainment to you. Sadly, for me, things have gotten worse since then, there's been both some family animosity and lots of bad luck, but I don't feel like going into detail. It's been wearing me down not just in my mind but also physically.
