You can also replenish 15 units of oxygen to your tank with the air bladder if you choose. There's also the slow time it takes to actually die from lack of oxygen. It sounds very possible with oxygen to spare.

10:43 the reason it wont connect is that the base is an "i" compartment meaning it can only conect from the side where the hatch is or on the otherside, to get the moonpool to connect to a compartment like that it would need to be a three way one
