I made another ZAKU DIORAMA! Gunpla 1/35 Diorama for 2024!
Hey all! Here’s my 1st build for the year 2024! It’s become a tradition of mine to make Zaku Dioramas as my 1st build of the New Year so here’s my entry for this year!

Nice build, nice video too. I got something to try. Post visual effect. Get two old used lighters with flints that still work. Put the diorama so you can put your hands behind it. Turn out the lights and strike the lighters flints behind it and they look like explosions.😊

If you want to see a real master of armor modeling and hear what he has to say about things. Then check out Rinaldi studio press, he got a KZbin channel and he has done a bunch of books about weathering both on military and gundam stuff

Yes I know about him :) I just prefer Night Shift’s distinct style of painting and weathering, almost hyper-realistic and ala badlands type :)

I think it's really cool that you're doing dioramas like this. I still want to see a VS video of you vs your dad but this time with miniatures instead of gunpla. I think your style of paint would go really well on a Tau miniature

We did a miniature paint off but with orcs! I’ll have to find some Tau miniatures and find some free time for both of us and we’ll do it for sure!

There’s a rainforest one, it came in the Army Painter Complete Set, perhaps it’s exclusive to that set. I’m not sure

nag try ako nico ng XPS Foam pero asking lang if pag ba nag apply ako ng plaster of paris d ba matutunaw yung XPS foam pag may Prethinned na Paint like Arkom Brand?

Plaster of paris alone will not melt xps foam. As long as you avoid strong non polar solvents you should be fine - avoid most things that would use paint thinner, mineral spirits or lacquer thinner as a clean up. So you can’t use lacquer paints, thin cement, etc as it will melt the xps foam. But if your paint is acrylic, it should be fine.
