@TayfaanАй бұрын
@@sleepinpancake1 That's why mods exist
@simonwillover4175Ай бұрын
@@Tayfaan yh and in the future we might have mods that run redstone even faster than 10kHz (the speed that the video says MCHPRS runs at). By the way, 10kHz literally means 10,000 redstone ticks per second, instead of 20. That's a 500x improvement, or a 49,900% increase. That means out 29 seconds per frame (i.e. 0.034 fps) becomes 17.2 fps. That's a tremendous improvement. Also, the game in the video runs from around 1:26 to 5:28. That means it runs for about 302 seconds, or 18,120 frames. Rendering that at 29 seconds per frame would take a toublesome 52,500 seconds, which is about 6 real life days and 2 hours.
@JohnDoe-rr8ufАй бұрын
That's not necessarily accurate. The given architecture makes somewhat sense as the bottleneck here is limited to the processing speed and Minecraft itself.

@verlioh8000Ай бұрын
@@user-dh8oi2mk4f yes he does, the 29s is after the speedup. With no speedup this would have taken several years to record (but that is because the cpu is specifically optimized to run fast under sped up conditions rather than in at vanilla tickrate)
@adrianbik3366Ай бұрын
The actual demo runs for 4 mins 13s and it looks like about 12 fps. That would be 3036 frames to render at 29 seconds per frame, which gives us around 24h and 27mins to render. I'm guessing he acted out what he wanted to show us in his emulator, recorded his inputs and used a script to move his Minecraft avatar to show us on his Minecraft screen. Otherwise it would be pretty much impossible to act out normally. It's still impressive in my opinion, since it is actually playable in Minecraft
