I played a lot of space games , i'm a big fan of this update. By the way, these big rocket style projectiles in space would more commonly be referred to as Torpedoes rather than rockets and they would be used against bigger spaceships, not really useful against little fighter crafts. But good job on the build, very cool.

Don't worry since the devs have player distance they'll probably add a thing that tracks player locations and moves towards it with logic.

I think it would make more sense to use one block wide rockets with mini thruster propulsion. It would not even need stabilizers because it doesn't need to turn. The stabilizers would only slow it down. Could add like a lot per wing too.

This kinda reminds me of the Expanse tv series/book series. The fact that you can now make launchable projectiles a more easily buildable weapon gives me an idea… Remember the torpedo battle you and ScrapMan had? What if you did that, but this time, with anti-missile cannons? Would be cool to see you guys frantically perform evasive maneuvers as you fire at the incoming torpedoes!

I feel like a block that acts like a wireless transmitter, like the RC glitch should be made, camera blocks already work wirelessly, and a block like that would make micro rockets a lot better bc u can control them like in besiege.

I wonder if they will ever add a tracking block that could control a vehicles control surfaces to chase down a target or constantly turn to face a target. it could be a really cool addition to the game however it could probably be abused somewhat easily.

Depends on what it would be tracking. If it tracks players, it would have to have a short range, to be less abusable. If it tracks blocks, it’s more easy to counter, it’d be even easier if there was some sort of block that shot some sort of countermeasures…

Imagine making a missile with a huge blast radius by expelling dynamite everywhere which explodes after a short delay while the missile itself explodes. And maybe a distance sensor to activate all of the things.

Do they need the fins in zero gravity? They should just go straight all the time. Replace the fins with extra thrusters... or make a tiny one with a cone, 4 explosives, and a thruster. If you need a logic unit for the thrusters then replace one of the explosives. Then on a jet put the one in front of the other and 2 on each wing. this would give you 8 shots. You might also do what Scrapman did a while ago and have a non firing fixed gun with no aim assist and use its sight to know where you are aiming. Also can you make a proxy sensor that would detonate if something comes within say 10 block on either side. You might need 4 sensors and delay it so they do not blow up when you launch them.

I kinda wish they added a really big cannon as that would be cool to center you ship around a big main gun that would take a while to reload but could break through shields very easily. Maybe like a rail gun cannon that would be a little bigger then the machine gun turret

Space RC Missiles piloted by Camera could be fun... :D Is there even a limit to how far a Camera can get from its controlling Seat and still stay controlled? Also, ya know those TOW Missiles in BF 2042? a 2 Player Vehicle with Player 2 Launching then trying to aim a Trailmakers-ized TOW Missile could be cool... after all, in Space, no one can hear you miss embarrassingly. ;)

Custom rockets are definitely more interesting with the Spacebound update... but they also definitely need something better in the way of targeting. I'm not sure how that will work, because I need a new computer, or at least a new video card, before I can play Trailmakers at all with any sort of double-digit FPS.

Space fortress station VS missiles like yours. Planes can free respawn. Stations have free power cords, no moving, rotation is free.

You should use magnet on delay activation on front of missile. It’s space. So no worrying about aerodynamics really. Magnet turning off just after launch if close to another ship would attract to it

Day 11 of asking for an Torpedo bombers vs Shark on high seas. The bombers can only use on Large prop and have 2 torpedos that they can only be dropped below an set altitude. The shark can only use melee attacks and armor plates don’t count to the block limit. The controls get split like one player has pitch and yaw control and the other player has roll and bite/etc. controls.(sry if my English is bad I’m german)

Am I the only one who thinks that maybe if you’re going for something stupidly fast, with no air resistance, that you wouldn’t want quantum rudders. They apply drag, so if you don’t have them, you have infinite speed.
