Beautiful Haku! I deeply relate to the attempt at a shot being a quick and elegant one, i.e. hand goes in, does the thing, hand slides out. I appreciated the struggle with the sewing machine cover thing that the uppydowny needle part goes into. Also the drifting camera mishaps. Now that's some stippled goop if I've ever seen it.

I can’t wait to see the end result! I loved spirited away as a 6th grader watching it I loved Haku I shipped him and the main character. ASMR armature is so satisfying can we have a compilation of just that sound effect because I love it. Also your “Chonk Chonk Chonk Boi” and “Thin Thin Thin Boi” are my favourite quotes of yours to try and say because it’s adorable! Oh my Haku looks amazing! I love it!

Oh WOW! This was amazing to watch . I have actually watched this and you have caught the scene perfectly. The dragon is gorgeous, beautifully made and painted to look like he should look like .You are extremely talented . And Hake looks beautifully painted too. I thought the base was a bit loud to begin with, but I see what and why you did what you did. Each layer gave it more and more depth .To say I love this is an understatement . I think it’s turned out as magical as the stunning dragon which after all is the focal point of this masterpiece 🥰

AAA I'M LATE! BUT THIS IS AMAZING! For your first mini-scale artdoll, I'd say you've pulled it off wonderfully! The whole scene just makes my heart melt, and the water is absolutely one of my favorite parts (It's so shiny and glossy I want to lick it, like a jolly rancher candy). Haku is an adorable noodle and you've captured his noodle-likeness in all his noodle glory. I can't wait to see more pieces like this in the future!!

Speaking of references, if you watch the little behind-the-scenes/making-of featurette that came on the DVD Miyazaki talked about how they gathered a bunch of dog/wolf references when designing Haku. They even went to a vet to ask about how to feed a larg dog medicine for the scene when Chihiro shoves the little moss ball down Haku's throat. So yes! Gather them references! Haku sure is a thin thin boi. UwU In my experience the darker colors need a few extra layers to really get to what they advertise themselves as. For instance: royal blue is actually sky blue until like the third or forth layer unless I'm really heavy handed with the air brush. Oh wow, that first shot of the final montage where we get to see the ripples side on was just! *chef's kiss* Beautiful. He came out amazing! Cute little friends! Beautiful resin water! So much detail! And Haku is for sure the crowning jewel. The whole thing is stunning!
