Flower tip! If you want to quickly disassemble fake flowers, use cuticle nippers, and cut the top or bottom plastic bit off, and they come apart as whole layers of petals. These can be folded or cut as desired for various shapes, and you can lay down a whole row of scales with a flower cut or folded in half.

4:50 It's always so frustrating, yet so magical, when things just want to be what they want to be. My dad has been getting into "art" (he chops down his own trees (for fun) and mills his wood (for fun), but now he makes little pieces of furniture with said wood) and he encountered this phenomenon a couple weeks ago. It was fun talking to him about it.

As someone who has to make lore for everything they see: Petal wings are a rare and illusive dragon who live deep within the forests of the island Martina, they are deeply connected with their forest home and help it to grow, protecting it from wildfires and flooding caused by their strange climate. while a Petal Wing's scales may look soft, they are hard, but flexible, bending as they grow into their unique petal-like design that gives them their name. as they grow, their baby scales do not fall out, but are covered by the petal like adult scales, beginning to glow in an eerie light that enamors potential threats and allows the Petal Wing to live a peaceful existence. To tame a Petal Wing is to promise to protect its forest along side it.

She is so beautiful I want to CRY. She's so elegant, regal, and dainty, her face is so sweet and gentle, her colours are so soft and delicate. My favourite thing about her is how well you chose where to put long petals versus short petals; The long, swooping shapes of the petals on her back, tail, and forelegs add so much interest to her silhouette and compliment her body shape, and transition so nicely into the neat short ones. And finally the lights in her petals add such a mystical quality- I can imagine her walking in a forest bathed in blue moonlight, the glow of her petals both complimenting and contrasting the deep blue environment. All I could do was stare dreamily as the showcase played! I think she's one of my favourites of your creations so far, and I really hope you can be proud of her too, despite all the challenges!

This is so frickin’ beautiful man…. I think the simple blob head provides a much needed contrast to all the long textured body and horns, so tail-to-body-to-horns becomes a whole shape with a head coming out of it, and that creates a mysterious vibe that the lack of mouth and super subtle eyes totally adds to. Love!
