To be honest, the Lego Mario theme has been pretty great. I appreciate how interactive it is, and there’s great opportunities to assemble random courses or larger builds. The idea of Mario Party in Lego is also genus, and it turned out well.

Omggggg, this is actually such a smart idea with the interactive figures. It suprises me that Lego has never made a Mario Party themed set. This could be so awesome!! Mario Party as a real life playboard, I'm in!!!!!

A Mario party theme would be the best direction for the interactive figures if they want to make minifigures. It could even come with an interactive dice block that could sense what number is rolled. Would be pretty awesome!

I have had this idea for a while. I think lego could REALLY open up the figures if they made 1 change! make it so when you get coins, it says how much you do right then! this would let you use physical coin tokens to keep track of coins while the figure tells you how many you got.

This reminds me of Mario Party-e, a board game Mario Party with e-Reader compatibility for the minigames. This kinda runs with the same idea, but instead of using a GBA and the e-Reader it uses LEGO Mario.

I like the digital Mario figures 2 I think the reason Lego did this design is because they wanted to be just like the video game where you can collect coins defeat enemies and complete a level I really like that

They haven’t made a board game in a long time. If they did make Mario Party, an interactive dice block would be really interesting. Like one that has screens on all sides you could customize with the app for each character.

I have thought about this a lot and these are the tiles i would love to see to make this possible! start tile with no time limit a few tiles to remove specific amounts of coins. -1, -5, -25 a tile to add a star and a tile to remove a star I actually think this is all that is needed to make a Mario party game using the digital aspects of the game. you can make shops, can make losing coins, getting stars/losing stars there is 1 other way lego can support people making board games using these, which is much simpler. if they just made it so after you get any coins at all, it *says* how many coins you get instead of just showing a coin and playing a sound. if it did this you could then use physical coins and stars to keep track and use the figures without a start tile to do any board games pretty much!

Yeah, swapping an outfit could do the trick. The board is also a bit small compared to ones in-game, so I thought three would work fine.

if lego had gone this route instead of the route they currently have with mario could be a pretty good lego theme however they should give it a sonic the hedgehog treatment side note i know they already have it as a game style but if they did mario party style it would have made more sense with the big characters
