I made more NEW Pokémon for the Pecharunt DLC - Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Here is a fun theory relating to Pecharunt if you were interested: So we know it is responsible for giving the Loyal three their toxic chains, but the real question is why did it want to take Ogerpon's masks? Surely greed couldn't be the sole reason. Though after the Mochi Mayhem event, there is something that happened during the Teal Mask story that does kinda line up. After learning the truth about Ogerpon, you still go to read the 3rd and final sign board which talks about how if the ogre sees your face your soul will be not under your control. But this can't be true because we already know the entire tale of Ogerpon is false. Not only that, but it isn't really part of the story like the other two signboards. However, what Pokemon do we know can take over your soul once you look into its eyes? Pecharunt, where it shoots its mochi into your mouth and you become a mindless zombie to it. The 3rd signboard also mentions how those who wore their mask would be safe from the ogre's wrath, which would also make sense here because the mask would block Pecharunt's mochi. So maybe, Pecharunt wanted to steal the masks because he wanted to control the man and Ogerpon, but they could only take 3 masks. And coincidentally, the three masks that were taken leave it with just the pure Grass typing, meaning it would be weak to the Loyal Three's Poison type

@@eglolso that means they lost the original tradition of the festival to the story of ogerpon. Which was the perfect opportunity for Pecharunt. However, Pecharunt would’ve become more nervous after having their controlled Pokémon sealed away and awaited for their return. But since the MC character caught the loyal three it instead decided to take matters into its own hands and hypnotise the entire town. With the arrival of a strong trainer like Nemona it saw it’s chance. Just to be defeated by the MC and caught.

An idea to expand on Mesmeraz's Loyal Three; 1. Blissey (the failed maiden) Poison/Ghost 2. Kangaskhan (the failed mother) Normal/Ghost 3. Marowak (the failed crone) Ground/Ghost Ability Effect: A 30% chance to Disable the opponent's last used move (regardless of whether it made contact or was a status move). For Dechesto; 1. Snorlax (the sleepless one) Dark/Ghost 2. Slaking (the restless one) Fighting/Ghost 3. Komala (the anxious one) Fairy/Ghost Ability Effect: A 30% chance to inflict sleep on an opponent after targeting them with a move. And finally for Degenoran; 1. Terapagos (earth) Rock/Ghost 2. Jirachi (space) Psychic/Ghost 3. Celebii (time) Steel/Ghost Ability Effect: All moves have a 30% chance to restore 1/16 of the users HP OR Ability Effect: All offensive moves have a 30% power boost, but also deal recoil

I accidentally made a pokemon like pecharunt before blueberry academy even came out. It was based on a fig wasp. I named it Waspit It makes its home inside of pecha berries. bug poison and made a venemous jelly out of it.

Im pretty sure the reason they gave pechrant the inverse story of its source is due to its poison typing, the poison typing comes from the fact it is based on a peach pit, famous for its containment of cyanide.

I like to think that the ace type of these berry pokemon would be ghost, kinda representing how they “possess” and take over the pokemon that fall into their traps, and that the pokemon they influence gain the other typing that they have, and they all have their own type’s equivalent of a poison chain.

They used the peach to tie into Momotaro's story, but you can definitely do something with Western mythology as well. Although I guess it would be less of a deconstruction if you played it straight with a Leppa Berry (or a Pomeg Berry, depending on your beliefs).
