For Greninja, maybe replace Water Bubble for a new signature ability: Shadow Clone Any and all attacks from the target do no damage once Greninja Mega Evolves or switches in and afterwards makes all attacks by the user a guaranteed hit (excluding OHKO moves, of course). This only works once for balance purposes.

I always felt that the Kalos starters should not have had a a secondary type triangle. The other gens where all the starters got a secondary type didn't do this. Chesnaught should have been grass/steel, Delphox fire/fairy and Greninja is already fine as is

I'm sorely disappointed the final design doesn't hide Greninja's face like the WIP version, that nailed the mysterious Dark-Type rogue vibes so hard. On the other hand, the armor-like pieces on Chestnaught's body are perfection! The Pokémon would have been a lot more popular if it had had something at all there instead of his body being empty of design elements.

Pokemon artists that stick to their own artstyle instead of trying to imitate official artstyle just makes me so happy! love ur designs! also pleease consider Mega Beheeyem (i dont even like it that much but it has so much potential) one more thing! ok ok hear me out, they’ve done almost everything they could with the regional variant concept; regional variants and unique evolutions (Obstagoon) or multiple forms (Aqua/Fire Paldean Tauros) or lookalikes (Wiglett, Toedscool)… all except one thing, giving regional variants/evos new Gimmick forms, like Megas perhaps in PL:Z-A it’s a natural next step if you ask me, it would even explain why couldn’t see those megas in the present day, it’s because these regional pokemons capable of mega evolving went extinct (or didn’t exist yet, if you believe plza is in the future)

I really like the ideas and art you had for the Kalos starters' potential Mega Evolutions. In terms of design, my favorite might be Mega Greninja. I liked that you replaced the tongue with bubbles. That, and the fact that it doesn't look like Ash-Greninja. I appreciated that you gave Mega Delphox a mage's staff rather than a wand. It makes me wish that regular Delphox wielded a staff instead of a wand. I read your comment, so I know you didn't mean to say Grass/Steel as Chesnaught's typing. That said, if its typing were to change upon Mega Evolving, Grass/Steel would be a sufficient type combination for Chesnaught. I'm glad that you gave it Mirror Armor, as I'd like to see that ability distributed to more Pokémon. Regardless of type, other abilities that could work are Bulletproof, Iron Barbs, and Filter. I liked your choice for Mega Delphox's potential ability. Magic Bounce would work well. I could also see it with Drought, Psychic Surge, Fur Coat, or a new ability that I'd call Third Eye. This ability would allow the user to damage Dark types with Psychic-type attacks. This would be an ability that I'd like to see other Psychic types receive. Water Bubble is a clever idea for a Mega Greninja, especially since the only other abilities that I could see it have are Protean, Dry Skin, and Swift Swim. I'm looking forward to seeing more fan art from you. Your animations in this were cute and nicely done. I also love how you read off your Patreon supporters to the rhythm of the original Poké Rap. That is such a good idea.

I think you accidentally created a great type change for Chessnaught. It would make psychic not very effective instead of super effective, flying regular effective instead of 4x effective, make poison have no effect, bug would stay regular effective, and ice would become regular effective. All for the exchange of a 4x fire weakness, regular damage from ground, and a weakness to fighting. Players would have to gamble with whether or not it would type change by mega evolving when choosing their move, similar to tera (or how a few megas worked). Well done!

I absolutely love Mega Greninja's slim and simplistic design. And the Water Bubble ability would be the justice that needs to be served for favorite mon, especially how much they nerfed it in Scarlet and Violet, while Incineroar remains unchanged. I actually loved the first concept for Mege Greninja. Both are awesome concepts, but the first one is sick. If we got it in Z-A, I wouldn't be upset.

I really loved the Pokerap at the end! Your little avatar was adorable just vibin while rapping! Also I really love the Megas you cooked up! Especially Mega Delphox! Its such a cool looking design and really leans into the more witchy side in a very nice way! I love the addition of the hat, staff, and tail skirt! Mega Chesnaught looks adorable but mighty! I really adore it's face! It looks really cute and a little cat like which I like a lot! It's an awesome spikey fren that'll protect its pals no matter what! Mega Greninja is an interesting take, I don't think I've seen an interpretation where it uses a lot of bubbles again! I like that the bubbles still make the shape of a scarf like the tongue did, and kunai is a fun swap from the shurikens! It'd be really funny if Mega Greninja had a move where it throws kunai at you and then smacks you with a giant bubble sword lol! I honestly really like all of these, but I am quite curious about what they'll do with Battle Bond Greninja in Legends Z-A since it's sorta a Mega(?) While I'd love for Battle Bond to become usable for all Greninjas or even a full fledged Mega, I think it'd be really nice to just give Greninja a fresh new Mega to go along with it's two friends! Surprisingly, as a crazy big Greninja fan and it being my favorite Pokemon because of watching the XY/XYZ anime every Saturday morning, I think Mega Delphox takes the cake for me this time! I just love it's whole vibe and amazing new design! Heck I even really loved Chesnaughts more! Greninja was really great though! I think this proves that Delphox and Chesnaught have just as much potential to become amazingly beloved Pokemon as our favorite sneaky ninja phrog! Let's hope The Pokemon Company can cook up some stellar new Mega designs for these three and many more in Legends Z-A! I wonder what other new Megas we could possibly see in Z-A (maybe Mega Flygon...?) I look forward to seeing all the awesome Megas and ideas you'll cook up in the future! And if I was old enough and had money, I think I'd consider subscribing to your Patreon! I hope others will though! This was an absolutely lovely video! I'm definitely sticking around from now on! Keep up the amazing work! :>
