I made my DREAM Travelers Notebook! - Antique Tooled Travelers Notebook - Show & Tell

After much deliberation I finished the "Map" Travelers Notebook! Can you believe its been a year since I got the bag I made this from!? Crazy! But I am so happy that it turned out how it did! In todays video I tell you all about how I turned an antique map bag into the travelers notebook of my dreams!

The old map satchel was such a find, and the project turned out so cool! I love seeing the leftover pieces of leather, and yes, the leather of the smaller folio is GORGEOUS!

This is so amazing! I love how you make so many things yourself and re-use existing items instead of buying them brand new. I'm really excited to start using my own travelers notebook, I made some of my own inserts earlier today, one with tea stained paper and one out of an existing old notebook I had that I didn't want to use in it's previous form. Really inspiring video :)

It never had a strap or anything, and not much room but is is so gorgeous indeed. The tooling is just crazy beautiful! I feel so lucky to have found it!

Quote idea (no offense if it's not in line with what you're going for): "Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart." I believe this is attributed to Confucious, but unsure about the validity of that. Regardless, I've always liked this quote to align my heart with my actions moving through the landscape of my life.
