@@Crispy_Gamer_ I don't think you're understanding my context. I'm not saying the devs trolled us. If you'd ever ran into a Jean main in 1.x, they were often a Jean main because they could troll other players with the elemental skill. Then in 2.x, Geo Traveler could use his skill to make it hard to see what you're doing, or to prevent you from interacting with something for a moment. Not to mention what Geo Travelers do when there's a Zhongli in the party. To this day, there haven't been any characters that troll in co-op harder than these two. Furina gets close in lower world levels, where you're already made of paper and haven't built any healers. But it just isn't on the same level as having some rando launch you off Dragonspine when you're cold, confused, and unfamiliar with the controls. Unless you main Hu Tao. Then we just bring a healer.

Great Video. I love seeing other traveler mains. I think that this video could be a little better if you brought up the fact that if you use geo traveler’s burst and skill after Maguu Kenki enters its 2nd state, you can trap it inside the arena of stone. A lot of people have difficulty fighting Maguu Kenki and it lives rent free in the abyss so having an easy solution to its movement shenanigans can help people appreciate traveler’s kit. I’d like to see EMC next but if you want advice on how to make Hydro traveler “better” I’d recommend putting her on a bloom team. Hydro Traveler’s burst has a unique interaction with Bloom cores where it’ll deal additional damage for every Bloom Core adjacent to the enemy. This means that Hydro Traveler’s burst can be multiplied by up to x6. Looking forward to the next video.

Great vid! I finally built my Traveler after getting the Sword of Narzissenkreuz; certainly not the best but the fashion is too good. I've been running her with Chiori, Furina and Bennett. It's a lot of fun shaping the battlefield so dramatically with constructs, and these tips have me excited to pick her up again 🪨💕 Looking forward to the rest of the series!

I started in 3.8, and to this day, I still use my microwave core. I'm a Zhongli main, but it just feels wrong if I don't have GMC running around with me in the overworld. Plus points to the gold/yellow colour which fits Aether so well. I personally like placing the pillar, bursting with GMC, then placing two balls on either side of the pillar and climbing up, seeing caged enemies die around my dong.

geo mc main here, using furina bennet is insanely broken because you can end up doing 100k vape plunges off the rockets so there is less dps downtime. xilonen and zhongli both work for the last slot

Let's go! Geo Traveler was a character I used a lot in the past and it feels nostalgic to see you bringing it out again :D A few notes: - The CRIT Rate buff from C1 only takes effect inside the radius of Wake of Earth, but is separate from it and will remain in effect even if all four of the Geo Constructs are destroyed. It can also be snapshot! - C6 increases the duration of the CRIT Rate buff from C1. This also makes it possible to get the CRIT Rate buff on Burst if you've already used Burst. - The Geo Constructs from Wake of Earth are really weird. Their hitboxes can actually be pushed by enemies, even though visually they stay in the same location. - As long as you are getting Crystallize Shards, Nighttime Whispers is better than Lavawalker in all scenarios. It provides 18% ATK and 50% DMG Bonus compared to Lavawalker which only provides the 35% DMG Bonus. - As for weapons, Wolf-Fang should be great if you're a Battle Pass purchaser, although Geo Traveler doesn't have quite enough of a hitcount on their talents to maximize the CRIT Rate buff. Finale of the Deep should be their best F2P option, with Kagotsurube Isshin also being a decent completely free option, and Sword of Narzissenkreuz being useful against specific enemies (Hydro Traveler who?) I might have to give them a go again, especially now that I have Chiori and I'd like to see how well she works in the Microwave team. If you have Navia, double Geo with Navia and Geo Traveler is strong as well!

Electro traveler is good since he can shred electro resistance, give a lot of energy while also applying electro with his burst and she works well with Beidou who can also shred electro res by 15% (total of 30% with MC)

I been running Geo MC DPS with Benny C6, Furina, and Zhongli for a hot minute .. and by sheer luck on singles I got Xilonen and Chiori's Sword for Traveler now... Replaced big Zhong with Xilonen, and oh my god I been hitting even harder than I did before- the Pyro infused normals with Benny C6 vaping from Furina also do a surprising amount (I mean I crowned Geo Traveler's normal attacks, rest are 9 atm). While Anemo Traveler is my favorite for nostalgia, and Dendro for versatility... Geo Traveler just slaps so damn hard with damage. I'm so excited for Pyro Traveler and pray it's some kinda DPS or can be made into one like this... and not another Hydro Traveler xP

Eh, Traveler is my only Main DPS besides Kaeya. Which is basically just Cryo Traveler. It's been that way for, like, 3 years now. I've built up quite a few supports. But Traveler is an efficient use of resources. You only gotta level him up once.

i use primordial jade on every traveler build now i doubt ill change. i do have a specific sword for every region (in my fanon head traveler changes into the local weapon for that region) i settled on PJC cuz for every build it works. i settled on emblem for every traveler also, with slight variations to the sands. i sneak in crit dmg/rate into all my builds (some more than others) same with HP (becuase of primordial jade) and elemental mastery. (for reactions). below is my builds i started for traveler while playing the game over 4 years: ADC builds = (attack sands, Elemental Damage cup, Crit damage) EDM (Elemental mastery sands, Elemental damage cup, Elemental mastery hat) ErDC (energy recharge sands, Elemental damage cup, Crit damage hat) HpDC (health sands, Elemental damage cup, Crit damage hat anemo - EDM 4pc VV set Favonious sword gep - ADC 4pc Nighttime Whispers prototype rancor electro - ErDCr 4 pc emblem of severed fate Amenoma Kageuchi hydro - HpDC Flower of Paradise Lost- Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (bloom) Marechaussee Hunter - finale of the deep dendro - EDM 4p deepwood memories sapwood blade for natlan so far. i havent decided what build is gonna be useful for my traveler for obvious reasons now i just run PJC emblem 4 pc with sands as off set (EM for anemo, dendro) (att for geo) (Hp for Hydro) (Er for electro) most of my substats are focused around HP ER and crit dmg

I mastered everything in this video as a long time GMC main but sadly stopped due to goated Dendro since sumeru. I missed doing this hard to master playstyle. I stopped playing genshin a year ago (partly due to HMC) but Geo MC will always be my favorite character due to the rewarding yet challenging playstyle. Just sad to see how high the Damage ceiling has gotten since dendro got introduced and it even got higher with busted Fontaine units which made geo MC less rewarding for me. 1.0-2.(???) was a great time and they can still have reasonable enough power compared to units at that time

I think it would be fine, she won't mess up construct rotations. It will take a bit longer initially to detonate boulders though since you don't have zhongli's pillar to speed up the process of hitting the max construct threshold

I reaaallly wish they would release another character that loves constructs like Zhongli. The closest we have is C0 Chiori. I love the resonance playstyle. Maybe a character than consume constructs to deal huge damage? Wouldn't Furina-Bennett be a nice combo too? Since you swap a lot, you end up getting a lot of healing on all your characters, especially so if Bennett is on a healing set (such as Songs of Day's past for even more damage?!).

Furina and bennett work pretty well, it's just that I don't like allocating multiple high-tier support characters to one team when I still have the other side to consider. Plus, xiangling is practically joined at the hip with bennett due to energy costs, there's really only one team I know that uses xiangling without him.

If your Zhongli is well built, c2 Zhongli does a ton more damage than Xilonen would and could potentially lead to more overall team damage given you can place up to two pillars. For bigger numbers on the rest of the team, Xilonen is the better option since Scroll gives 40% dmg bonus and up to 36% geo shred, which is a bit more than zhongli can provide support-wise.

I would say it depends on how well built your Zhongli is. He can do around 10k per shockwave with a high-end build, which can be pretty good damage-wise, while Xilonen really doesn't introduce her own damage, but gives more buffs (16% extra res shred + 40% bonus dmg). For most people that get their constructs destroyed or broken, Xilonen is probably better overall.

still... unless mist splitter and godly artifact.. geo traveler damage is LOW and slow, and buggy. I really like geo traveler, but i lost count of the time, enemies were walking ON TOP of the burst rock, should be impossible but they do. They get stuck on top of normal rock and go to full HP cause they can't hit you and seemingly can't walk down a rock xD If you miss the hit box even of 1millimeter the rock will explode OR just the enemy up. i swear if these problems weren't very annoying to deal with, i'd be still playing GEO MC today.
