I have been watching a few of your videos and find your concept interesting and enlightening. I am in the process of designing my own fence because I can't find any reasonably priced aftermarket quality systems in South Africa. If I may point out, to stiffen your system you can reduce the length of your mounting brackets and use the saved material to add perhaps some more of them. You can mount the horizontal extruded part directly above your gantry plate to be around 1mm below your table saw surface and bring it closer to the cast iron top of the table saw. I can also send you a DXF file for laser cutting a single design gantry plate if you are interested. (I am sure you can find a laser cutter in your area.)

Does the extrusion not flex/bow when being used? I have a 2"x4" (80/20's 2040, not the 2040 v-slot) and I have issues with deflection... and that's dual enforced on a router table.

i know its a non issue but could you also run a rear set of sliders to reduce deflection even more?

Yes I have another video on rear slider options for this version

Do you happen to know if this would work with a Craftsman 310 model?

Awesome fence system ! I realise this is now a year old, however, what’s the rough cost of all the 80/20 components? Nice work, cheers Tom

Hi there, I was selling the kits between $190-200. I no longer sell them but I do have the plans available for a small cost with links to buy the parts as well

Hi I like this new design. I have a large surplus of 80/20, however would like to purchase the wheels and gantry plates. Do you sell those components? Thanks

Sure please reach out to me on the correct form through the website

Why the vertical section?
@jbuilds19 ай бұрын
To allow for different mounting hole locations / prevents the need to drill mounting holes in table saw top

Why would you not just sell the kits??
@jbuilds12 ай бұрын
@@coreywells3911 it was a lot of work and unfortunately had other things going on at the time

unnecessarily too much flexing lengths between mount and rail, rail and fence. Minimising moment arm will minimise the flex and tolerance.
