We definitely need a second edition of it! Love your own ones!

That Kobold is such a clever build!! Way to go! 👏🏼

Nice job on these, I love the Bugbear, and Duergar. The Hag I felt looked like purple Zombie Jack Sparrow. That hair is too iconic for my brain to see past it.
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I toyed with the Bellatrix Lestrange hair for the hag too, either way I think gluing on some horns would help. I’ll probably revisit her with some figure modding in the future

A very high quality video as always 😁👍

Honestly I'd love to see some D&D battle packs. There are many monsters that would work such as orcs, kobolds, and goblins.

I’ve been thinking the same thing! I think I’ll try my hand at building some soon
@NealeZeringueАй бұрын
More of these please! The Vecna might be illegal with those detached hands from a torso.
@thelegodmАй бұрын
It’s definitely a gray area… it shouldn’t put any stress on the hand pieces which is usually what counts as “illegal”, but LEGO a would never use detached hands as their own piece for building. Maybe it’s like a “misdemeanor” building technique
@jo-jo1117Ай бұрын
Wow the techniques are insane

Lovely minifigs. I am already regretting not being into lego when Chima was out ! I am happy I got a healthy dose of NEXO Knights villains though
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I try to keep an eye on eBay for Chima figures, sometimes you can get a lot for a good deal since it wasn’t a super popular theme. They really are perfect for so many D&D creature and species
@octav1600Ай бұрын
@@thelegodm I got a few as well, but I am the kind of guy that wants all of them =)))

@@thelegodm please make a video for how to build fully brick built and fully minifig scale lego versions of a four member group of d&d 5e monster manual monsters known as The Djinns of Water and Earth and Fire and Air since I really love your fully brick built elementals and I’d love to see the Four Djinns from D&D 5E Monster Manual in lego form pretty please 🥺

Don’t worry it’s already on the list!

It's super important to have cute kobolds. How else is the party even going to consider adopting one as their mascot? Fantastic video! Definitely a driving force for me to expand my monster/npc collection. So much work to do! Lots of great figures to choose from, but the way that Duergar came together was my favorite. Simple pieces but the combination was just so spot on. Now I need to grab some more grey heads and go for it
@thelegodmАй бұрын
Exactly! If the kobolds aren’t cute the party might actually fight them

If not a new cmf line, there are so many opportunities for Lego and WoTC to continue to collaborate. Imagine sets like The Inn of the Last Home or Xak Tsaroth from Dragonlance. Drizzt, Wulfgar and Bruenor fighting Icingdeath from the Forgotten Realms. They could even do modular dungeon rooms complete with monsters, pcs, traps and details that you could link together. The possibilities are endless!
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I agree. It would be such a good licensed line, I really hope they keep it up

All of these are great

I would be disappointed if Lego DnD came and went and we never got a Drow minifig! One of the most iconic races, I’m shocked it didn’t appear in either of the two collab releases
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I agree. I tried to make Drizzt as one of the figs in this series, but I could find a head I liked. There aren’t really any dark gray heads with normal face prints, so I had to shelve it
@SilverScribe85Ай бұрын
Have you made an attempt at the following characters yet? Leonin, the Vox Machina members, Luxodon, Kenku, Drow, Lloth
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I’ve got a kenku coming up soon, and I tried to make a drow for this video but there are not a lot of good lego heads in drow skin tones so I had to put it off. I haven’t attempted any of the others yet, but there were lion and elephant factions in the lego Chima theme that would be great figs for Leonin and Luxodon
@SilverScribe85Ай бұрын
@@thelegodm I've seen one user use a this purple head from one minifig for THEIR drow. But what about the Vox Machina cast and Lloth (sorry if I misspelled the name)
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I haven’t tried making Vox Machina or Lloth yet but I might some day
@SilverScribe85Ай бұрын
@@thelegodm There are bound to be some spider minis with detachable heads, right? If there are, all you need is the right torso piece to attach to the spider half and VOILA! You got yourself your own Lloth

You forgot to invert the hands on the Rakshasa...
@thelegodmАй бұрын
You’re totally right! Does turning them upside down count as backwards for lego hands? I guess it will have to since they don’t have thumbs

@thelegodm Yeah, I thought of that, having the hands upside down.

While I hate WOTC, I think it’d be such a waste if they didn’t do more stuff with LEGO. Hell can you imagine a Tell Tale LEGO DnD?!

I’d say what no drizzt but I know he would need custom parts
@DMTipАй бұрын
Your point about Drizzt...the fact he's not in the first wave gives me hope him and his companions are going to be in future sets .. hopefully a CMF line and not $200-300 behemoths.
@thelegodmАй бұрын
I tried for a while to make Drizzt for this series, but there’s not a lot of good drow skin tones available
