If I ever run across a 40+ inch mud-terrain or aggressive all-terrain tire that's ruined I'm tempted to make a set of mudflaps with the tire tread texture as the trailing side.

Ha! I did the same thing 3 weeks ago! But I had to go out into the road to pick up the semi's flap. Mine was outside a strip mall with a Wally Mart.

NICE! Used to have one of the big thick heavy duty semi mudflaps that are like 2 inches thick....kept in back of my truck for when I had to lay or kneel while changing spare or working on a car....
