No please! Am I the only one that doesn’t see either of those packs as anything other than extra work for my poor sims to deal with? I don’t want to have to juggle holidays and watch temperatures or take sick pets to the vet multiple times a day! Just make it compatible with the university creepy mushroom area that otherwise has no obvious purpose and thus is extremely irritating. That and have them make a purpose for that weird in the tree lot that’s super boring otherwise

Indeed. The only thing I'd change is I don't really want ghosts entirely gone, so instead, for your sim to become an angel or a demon, they would need to reach the very edges of the morality meter else they just become ghosts after death as usual. The Good/Evil traits would give you a head start in each direction, while other sims start up smack in the middle of the scale.

Its honestly annoying how it seems like so many people played the sims 1 & 2 as kids, the most adult sims games, but now that we're adults its been made kid friendly. If people are getting that much anxiety over a sound in a video game they need to shut their computer off and touch some grass. Spinning Plumbob's fairies vs. Witches mod. Its like a free expansion, and likely way better than EA will ever make. Comes with literally dozens of animations modded from sims 3 into sims 4, flying, spellcasting, etc. Download it and throw the dude a buck. You wont regret it.

@@moondaughter1004 it's not been buggy for me. But take that with a grain of salt, since I havent updated SIMS4 since the update just before Growing Together was released. I made sure to get up to date right before that point, since I KNEW that expansion was just going to cause havoc with the game itself. it just how this whole cycle works. New expansion > game breaks > mods in turmoil, etc. Hopefully thats not an issue recently, but you can always download it, and give it a shot. If it acts weird, be sure not to save the game and remove it. it is safe to do that at least. Anyways, just a heads up since I know I am not the only one who has refused to update their game since before Growing Together. So if your in that camp like me, I can confirm it functions just fine. If not, I hope it gets fixed soon, as it is my very fave creator content, and deserves far more universal recognition. It's just so good.

Genies _were_ in Sims 3. They came with Showtime and were playable if you pursued a quest to free them. Also, your suggestion for debuffs and even the example wish for beauty and the way it backfires are in Sims 2. Another example from Sims 2 is that, if you wish for wealth, you have a much higher chance of getting robbed for the next several days.

Having angels and demons would definetly get some people mad, but at the same time it would be so cool. It would add onto the death system, and it would just cause more chaos. It wouldn't have to even be lore accurate. Like if they just expanded on the idea there are some things they could do to make it not heavily relligous. If I would recreat fairies in ts4 i wouldn't make them go tiny (i like to think that fairies are life size people) but I would like to see different types of wings to choose from and not only "light" wings. Hmm there is the zombie apocalypse mod, where zombies start roaming around and attack your sim and your sim can become a zombie and get a flesh craving, also there is Angel and Demon traits, and a separate mod that lets your sim become a Whitelighter. And protect other sims that become your charges, like in the classic Charmed TV show, they can even orb from place to place in a bright white effect.

To be honest i would love morality meter in Sims 4 that would create consequences for activities that would in real life be considered "illegal" like polluting, being overly aggressive towards other sims or having criminal carrier. Having negative morality would force you to avoid police or do more illegal stuff to keep them away like idk "hack your criminal record" or lie during the investigation and if you fail to do so your sim will be taken to jail and idk became temporally unplayable (i'm not a game dev)? While having positive morality would boost certain carriers and unlock perks like being able to snitch on your neighbors what from one side gives you worst morality but from other makes police trust you more so you get a massive advantage if you decide to do something illegal. I know Sims 4 became a bit too childish for this type of stuff but i would love to play like an actual criminal, they could also add thieves and ability to call for police back.

I think the reason we do this is because deep down we know that the bones of the game are bad and that it’s not very interesting so we just get focused on the next best thing coming out that we think is going to fix the fact that the game is actually uninteresting and boring without your own creativity to make it fun. I think we all know deep down in our hearts that nothing we could ever do to the Sims four would make it actually something that deserves to be talked about in the same breath as the other Sims games. The fact of the matter is that the Sims 4 Was Made Way too fast under way too much stress by people who just got told all of their hard work was going to be thrown down the drain because the ceo was too nearsighted and stupid to understand that people would not want to pay a monthly fee to play the Sims online.

spinning plumbobs has a great mod for a few packs (you do need realm of magic and island living respectively) n they make witches and mermaids a lot more fun and detailed. they have a fairies vs witches mod that adds fairies and a darker version of witches, and they also have an expanded mermaids mod that adds merwitches (kinda like ursula) n its similar to the genie idea with making curses. check em out if you're interested!!

I think that angel/demon could be implemented under the name of good/evil spirit and that's all. Maybe even levels of goodness/evilness, so if you are a little evil you can't do much, but if you were a literal demon (lol) then you could get some spells to hurt people (like, idk, get them on fire, boom), that could work. Maybe if you did well then some of your dead sims could come for your soul instead of the grim reaper. Basically they'd help the man lol.

I'm not sure if your version of hell sends the right message. So I propose that yes, there would be an endless party. With lots of food and drinks. But also some invisible glasses stuck mid-air and hidden plates on top of shelves to prevent anyone from cleaning the dishes. There would be tables with an eternal game of musical chairs going on around them. There would be strippers, but they would be horribly glitchy. Never ending simulation lag. If you tried to leave the hell lot, your game would crash.

If you would go the route of angels and devils being ancient supernatural creatures instead of good+bad ghosts, you could have a relly cool demon gameplay a la supernatural, where you whould design a personality but either no body or a body that does just work in hell and you would have to possess people in order to have a life in the main sims worlds. You could make it necassary to do certain things in order to stay in that body. And normal sims could also get possessed by a demon for a while, but you have to switch bodys after a certain period of time. You could make a really dark gameplay possible if the demon wont die if the possessed sim dies. And you could have an excorcist carrier.

An alternative to hell, an “underworld” might be a better option to introduce demons, the grim reaper could live there too it could be a whole thing(I still don’t think they would but it would be cool to give the grim reaper more game interaction than just when a sim dies), not exactly on brand for angels but making it an underworld where everyone goes to the same place angels could live there too and just kind of have separate “neighborhoods” in that world

My favorite interpretation of Zombies are the ones on the tv show iZombie. It's not the best show in the world, but like, at least its interesting lol.
