The sword is probably a purple-ish grey color. The reason the panel showed red is because that was the first time he activated the crimson blade. It changed back to normal color a little bit after that. Still looks amazing nonetheless and the red honestly adds to it.

I think they’re just confusing the idea of when they first get their blade becomes a different color at first and change to red after a certain requirement is made

its not color changing, there is s power called "Crimson Blade" that the slayers can unlock in certain level, the blade turns Red and it can be able to return to the normal color when that ability irs desactivated, so they activate and desactivate the crimson Blade, but they cant change the color exactly, just the original color, or red

Well, now that you have finished this build, you are now ready to branch out into fillipino kris blades or flamberge style euro swords. Your reference photo shows the tsuba is sukashi. Have you done a tsuba with lots of cutout portions before? The itomaki shown in the photo also suggests Akechi Katate. Lastly, I think that cutting post is ready for retirement, lol.

Oh my god, I made Tanjiro's tsuba which has like 50 cut outs. That took about a week just for that. I definitely overlooked it for this one.

In my opinion, I like the older/ longer vids that you used to make. Katana videos used to be ten to twelve minutes (going based off of Rengokus katana video) with more details shown. I’ve just noticed that videos used to be longer and they had more depth to them, but now vids are around five minutes long with barely any depth to them. Still like watching your videos and just wanted give my opinion.
