Bad pad for Valorant unless you can recommend any skates that have enough stoping power to control that thing. Stopping your mouse on someones head is super inconsistent. 100% it's the best mouse pad ever made, no question it's the future. It just doesn't have any skates sticky enough to use it properly. Also I'm a bit miffed, because I went around loads of twitch streams the other day to find people using this pad to get advice. Found you, asked you how you were using it, and you said you no longer were. So.....

Honestly, I feel very sad. I’ve been playing Neon for a long time. I don’t play even a fraction as well as Temet, but I’ve still dedicated a lot of time to this character. After patch 8.11 removed her stun, I just couldn’t play anymore because that ability was fundamental for me. I took a long break and recently decided to come back. I had just downloaded Valorant and immediately checked out the changes in update 9.11, and it made me want to scream. It’s simply unbearable. Yes, Neon is a strong character, but only in the hands of skilled players. You can’t just mindlessly run around and press buttons with her. Even learning how to use her stun properly takes effort, as some people struggle to figure out how to throw it effectively. And now, once again, I’m uninstalling what seemed like a good game.

It's just that my attitude towards Valorant has always been more reserved; I mostly want to relax in it, not treat it as work. And on the day I wrote the first comment, I was simply freaking out over the coincidence, as if Riot had it out for me, and it mixed with the frustration over how they treat the character.

Iso is very weak, no idea what you're talking about, his shield not recharging was already a drastic nerf, on top of it not lasting as long. One two shot burst is all it takes to kill an Iso with a vandal, although he's a hard counter to the operator which is his own unique quality, that's a good thing. Neon nerf was overdone, taking away a slide and the effectiveness of the slides takes away from the movement centered play style of the agent, they should've done one or the other.

@@chillaxal7357 Iso shield allows him to legit peek corners and win basically everytime as he can tank a shot with his shield, neon takes a bit more skill specially with her movement, I agree with the ult nerf that was way too op but getting rid of 1 slide I don't think is quite fair, the accuracy nerf makes sense. But even then, Iso in my view is still op especially saying he has one of the best entries in the game with his literal moving wall imagine pairing that with flashes and blinds it just allows you to get on site everytime and gather so much ground, lets look at his ult also it allows for a 1v1 situation and if lets say you're in a 2v1 situation with ult you can win the round 99% of the time so yeah. I expect they will probably buff neon a lil bit when the nerf really sets in.

in my opinion (im legit silver 3 so im verrrryyyy low elo) they should change iso shield from invincibility to an extra 100 health with no cap, so 150+shield=250 and 80+shield=180.

@@chillaxal7357 I've noticed that if the user has good aiming (gets a kill within the first 4 bullets), the Iso's shield can be exploited to make it virtually invincible. Just a handful of guns can counter the shield. And even then, the opponent requires good aiming to land one shot to remove the shield and an extra 4+ to kill Iso. The shield can withstand Bucky, Judge, every rifle, and even the Ares and Odin, as these two require a lot of bullets to get a kill. As such, you are left with either a 2 vs Iso situation to get the kill, or forced to buy weapons that you may not like to use. I think Iso, at least, should get two kills for the regeneration orb to appear. Otherwise, it can turn into a broken character.

Just made the inaccuracy an actual thing while sliding and made her ult slightly less impactful, that would’ve made her perfectly balanced with someone like Jett or another entry duelist. They put her in the dirt with this patch, she has zero entry capability and it’s ruined her as a character fundamentally.

2 slides was a bit much all in all. I agree that they overnerfed my main but I still think what they did was valid. The only thing I find too much was the ult change. The ult has too little of a timer. The thing that made the ult so strong was her having 2 slides. Now that she has 1 again (2 if you slide then ult to reset) it weakened her a lot. You die a lot when you peek with the ult without slide. So you basically would just have 3 guaranteed free kills with those 2 slides and a kill reset. Overall the nerf is annoying but I’m not dropping being a neon one trick. I can deal with worse

@ see personally I just don’t think her slides have nearly as much impact if she has the accuracy nerf, cause then she has to take the time to fully reset after a slide to be able to take a fight, which in turn only makes her slides super strong with her ult, which like, it’s an ult, she should be able to make an impact single handedly, so idk I just feel like reducing slides on top of the accuracy nerf while sliding is just completely burying neon as an entry duelist.

@@silasr5310 having her have that much impact single handedly when it’s only 7 ult points mixed with her 2 slides was what made people annoyed with it. You can still slide and one tap people, you just have to be closer and a bit lucky. The timer isn’t valid because most people would just buy the ult on their eco rounds and take site. The enemy team will just run away from you now (guaranteeing the site) and giving you a free site or at least one kill. At least you can buy a shot gun and hide in smokes once your ult runs out now. That’s what I do personally.
