I Made SECRET Menu Starbucks Drinks | BUT CHEAPER

Today we are making two Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks, from home and attempting to make them cheaper than what you would pay at Starbucks.
For the Matcha Pink drink, it is a standard pink drink with a matcha vanilla sweet cream foam topping. To make the foam matcha, I just added a powdered matcha I found at my favorite, Trader Joe's.
For the Twix Frappuccino, you make a standard Caramel Frappuccino with 2 pumps of hazelnut syrup, add in "java chips" (aka dark chocolate chips), and a mocha drizzle.

After watching the amount of struggle it took to make these, it's 100% worth it to just buy it from Starbucks lol, It would be interesting to include the cost of time and potential ingredient waste / inefficiencies as well.

That Matcha foam is perfect! Starbucks uses a 3:1 ratio on the heavy cream, that looks perfect though! Yep it's a LOT of Sugar! Woah they did the base too! That sounds amazing! Amazing Job Macy ! Yeah it should be about $6.50 (here in Cali) $1.25 is what they charge for the vanilla foam! lol $0.01 of coffee that makes sense

With practice, would these take more than 5-10 minutes? (The base might take longer but maybe you can replace it or order). Sees much less time seent in total vs driving to get one which seems what most people do. And everyone needs a few min down time from building a business too. With all being said, after seeing the amount of sugar, at least in the mocha, Id rather go for a healthier smoothie or ice coffee.

Huh, weird! I followed this recipe for the foam: athome.starbucks.com/recipe/ao-july-aug21/vanilla-sweet-cream-cold-foam I figured it would've been accurate, but it didn't even have the heavy whipping cream on there! I found a lot of people used the heavy whipping cream from looking at online forums posts from people trying to recreate it. Maybe the recipe was wrong on the website I got it from? Under further investigation, I guess that website is run by Kuerig, so maybe that's why the recipe was off?

I’ll be 100% honest here, I’ve seen like maybe 1 or 2 videos of his (one on how to make sushi at home and another about high end steak) and didn’t know I was “copying” this. If you go back on my channel for almost 2 years now I’ve been using that | thing for a while. I didn’t just start using it with these videos. Additionally, a lot of my inspiration with the editing came from Nick DiGiovanni (who I binged while recovering from a tonsillectomy) and tiktok, which is why visually I’m changing the scene about every 6-10 seconds. I do remember him slamming down food in the beginning and thinking that’s cool, but that’s as far as I went trying to recreate anything.

Graham helps me with the thumbnails (because I’m absolutely shit at them) but besides the slamming down of food at the beginning, I’m not trying to copy anything.
