All the aquariums I created are on this playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLEivb5yRHXHf7uvRxTqv6RfXmRyCMrL6U . All of them are NO CO2, easy and perfect for beginners.

Very cool. I just keep a lot of (small) shrimp in mine. I was thinking of adding tiny Rasbora at some point, but decided against it. Work is too much of a drain to keep any more lifestock, at least for now.

@@frankvermeulen4621 sometimes aquariums are too much work. They can be enjoyable but they require work. I always try to set them up in a way that they are simple and that plants don't require too much maintenance. I guess that is why I am not a fan of CO2 aquariums. Yes they are more lush and aesthetically more pleasing but they are such a timesink that it just removes the enjoyment of the hobby. I like looking at high tech aquariums as long as they are not mine haha.
@frankvermeulen4621Ай бұрын
I fully agree. I am using CO2 in one aquarium now, and I may use it in the future when I have more time again, but any new setups I will be doing in the meantime will be without CO2, minimal light and very easy and slow plants.

I do love the simple black & green scheme. I'm planning something similar for my 75g (280+L) project with red, orange & black shrimp, snails & fish with lush, tropical-looking plants. All of mine are 5g (19L)-20g (76L) dirted tanks so this will be one heck of an endeavor! =p Just waiting on finishing the red oak stand for it...

@@AkbarZeb-p6f big aquariums are a lot of work; I mean in a way of adding everything and planting. If I was doing such a big aquarium I would definitely plan for something long-term (3-5 years). But it can be fun especially if you add something new every couple of months. People tend to drop everything in the aquarium during first couple of weeks and then three months down the line you are like hmmm what now 😂
