I actually love this. Its not necessarily straight but I have type 4 hair and its better to keep your hair stretched sometimes so that it wont get in knots, I havent really liked other methods but now i have a new one to try. Thanks for the idea

Conair used to make a "straightformers" they were called "make it strait" they discontinued in the early 2000s they were made from the same material but they velcro closed instead of being threaded through a sleeve

I like it. It’s not necessarily maybe what you were going for, but it still it a style and it is also wearable. Sometimes doing overnight/heatless styles can make the end result unpredictable and it doesn’t look good on its own. Love this!!

You probably could have straightened them by putting them on your ironing board with a tea towel on top and ironed them haha

I believe using this method would cause the plastic to stick together leaving no space to pull the hair through, unless you use it on extremely low heat which would be manually time consuming as well as equivalent to just placing it in boiling water and leaving it to get the same result.

A way i use to naturally straighten my hair is to warp it around my head i forgot the technique name but it's basically like that after applying the product work in small sections and make sure to brush the hair to your head to silk it up and pin to secure every time (you're gonna need lots of them) wear your bonnet and let it dry overnight The result to it depends on how well you managed to do the technique and it's amazing 👏🏽

You did a great job girl. Maybe next time to put a bobi pin at the end too to keep the hair straight whilst it dries. Don't put that heating hat. When straight hair is blown from down cuticle opens and it gets frizzy and without shine. You made my day

Is there a way to keep some waves but get a stretched wave look? I just had the big chop and I am so on the lookout for stretching my curls but keep the curls or waves if I’m using the wavemakers. Do you have any idea for the “longer” look with no heat tools involved? Thanks xx

Hi, I think the wave makers will work great as they are, or you could stretch them in boiling water without the chop sticks :)

I wonder if it has to dry with cold/cool air, or air dry..... If I apply with heat, even warm my hair gets extremely puffy. If I air dry or use cold air to dry my hair( which takes forever 😒) it comes out curly/wavy, and not poofy at all..... I liked the video, thanks for sharing.❤️
