We just came home after visiting Japan, my friends and I had omakase at Sushi Ginza Onodera. Our chef and us talked about Kimagure Cook and how we learned a lot about sushi from your videos! Thank you so much for your videos to help us learn about Japanese sushi and Japanese food culture! We were able to guess all of our fish right because of your videos! He was impressed we knew about akagai and shirako!

I went to the Ginza Onodera in LA and it was definitely the best omakase places ive been to. They brought pictures of each of the actual fish we were eating...i just wish we each got two pieces per fish instead of one...gotta go back one of these days...
Yes that would be a great idea! He has many fans in America, this i know. I often go fishing and crabbing here in my hometown, Seattle. Some of the guys i meet while kayak fishing are his subscribers and fans.
Kaneko-san.. I just want to ask.. how do you know what type of fish it is after filleting and skinning all type of fish.. I lost track just by watching you doing it! it's really impressive! 👏
