The big thing about modifing old 60-70s muscle cars to go faster is you also need to upgrade the brakes, because factory brakes already weren't good for the weight and power these cars made when they were new. Modern day braking systems (bigger calipers/rotors/etc) and maybe even ABS is something these old cars really need if you're modifying them.

I have heard stories about the old Trans Am, ya know the smokey and the bandit style ones. Even with only factory power people would end up twisting the frame because the power was too much, they didn't build the rest of the car to match.

That's because they weren't a full frame, only a sub frame.

The steering part that bolt to the frame on the right side has 2 bolts you only tighten the top one, there is one on the bottom too. When truck steered like that took me forever to figure out and here I had a untighten lug nut on the inter wheel of the duelly in the back

I had that very same issue with the steering you had and for me it turned out to be 1 of the lug nuts to the dual wheels in the back. Like I said it took me forever to find the problem. It must be a new thing , I never experienced it before until now and I've playing this since its release

I watched an elcamino pretzel itself at a drag strip years ago. Frame broke at the fire wall and it rolled the whole front a good 30 degrees before shutting down. They are just death traps we all want lol

60s chev/gmc trucks are bad about the drip rails and the rockers rotting out, seen that square body rust first hand, b-body gm cars are bad about the rear window channels rusting, it's ironically mostly cars that had nice thick metal that have rust problems

Did you happen to do some things off camera? I hadn't noticed the water pump, but I definitely saw the engine mounts being missed when you first installed the engine. Perhaps I missed when you tightened them later. The initial installation was 29:55 - 30:12. During that time, you only attached the engine to the transmission. But then at 33:21 it appears the engine mount bolts are seated. I'm don't see where they were tightened, but there also aren't any apparent cuts in the footage. 🤷‍♂

Here at my house we have 4 dogs and the 3 little dogs go in there kennel at night when everyone goes to bed and all 4 go in there kennel when everyone goes to work and when I get up I let them out and ITS NOT DISOPLINING THEM AMD IN FACT WHEN DOGS FEEL UNSAFE OR SCARED THEY WILL RUN AND HIDE IN THERE KENNEL ITS THEM SHOWING THAT THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE.
