This is probably dapper's best track yet. Not only is the shortcut really clever and innovative, but the rock falls in the tunnel look really cool and fit the theme of the map really well, and the map itself has a really nice theme. I love that he took the time to decorate that rock wall in the second shortcut. In general I think this is just a fantastic map. Also I think it's really cool that the second rock fall is so close to the shortcut so you get to see the rocks fall there and it explains how the first shortcut worked too.

Adding logic mechanisms when a game isn't supposed to have it, is my favorite things to happen in games. Always a mindscrew for the devs when they find out.
@jamesodwyer4181 Жыл бұрын
That is an insane use of the map editor. I am also a fan of including footage showing a complete run of the cheese. There have been other videos where I've wished the full cheese had been displayed. It's fun to see the full extent of what you've created.
@LordDragox412 Жыл бұрын
The most impressive things about this analog logic gate is that the game doesn't have deterministic physics. That means if the mechanism is not entirely jankproof, it has a very high chance to fail. This mechanism still isn't entirely perfect in that regard, but it has a very low rate of failure, which isn't easy to do.
@NeonNijahn Жыл бұрын
Agreed
@bushhhyy Жыл бұрын
Dapper has the most fun tracks. Everyone is always so hype to find the "cheese" because they know it is there. Gives a chance to the less experienced players to place a good time and see themselves on the leaderboard for a change, and that means something to a lot of folks as you can see from other videos.

Clever - this is like when people figured out how to make and/or gate out of Redstone in Minecraft, then make them.into a computer.
@TijmenZwaan Жыл бұрын
Except that the purpose of redstone was to represent binary logic in the first place. What dapper has done here is create a trigger system from building blocks that were not meant for this purpose.

@Tijmen Zwaan I was talking about the event of discovery. Dapper came up with something unexpected, much like the first Redstone computer.
@TijmenZwaan Жыл бұрын
@@kellingc I get what you mean, I just don't agree that redstone computers were unexpected. People making computers in a game that has built-in logic gates is kind of the expected result. FYI, I made my own 8-bit computer in minecraft back in 2011 as a form of practice, while I was doing some of my first classes in my computer science bachelor. I'm saying that what dapper has done is more impressive, since he's actually using the building blocks in a way that they were not intended to be used.

Could you make bridge using this? Drive on track and lower a some what loose object to form a bridge over a cap you can't jump that has longer route going around? The map idea: 4 bridges 8 short cuts. 4 which will skip the trigger to lower the bridge. Best time is to lower firs and last bridge and skip the middle two. if possible make a Trap shortcut at the start that blocks all bridges to be lowered so if people take it no bridge can be lowered 😏 That is 3 skips you must skip for best time 😁 Perhaps too much work 👍and I don't know if you can even make bridges in the game using this trick. Hopefully Developpers adds trigger blocks.
