Never seen anybody with this level of knowledge about tennis shoes. I’d like to move like Fed but the Vapors don’t suit me - it took only one pair to learn that. So this is just a thought and an observation... 1.) I have a pair of the first model of pureboost released back in early 2014-2015 compared to today's models the boost looks and performs very much different from today's version of what we know to be boost. Maybe it's me, but I have always wanted to see an in depth review of how this boost is different and why? Of course Ik about innovation and progression, however the material, shape and overall look of the boost is night and day two different shoes and i would just like to have an understanding of the 1st gen boost and how it came to be 2.) With these same pairs I've had since 2015 to today id like to maybe see if you are interested in possibly studying or reviewing the shoe itself in comparison to others, as well as disscusing a few of your thoughts as well as discussing mine on the shoe over such a period of time and in the time with this shoe ive done just about every type of test a shoe could come across from running, basketball, mountain biking, hiking, you name it, in this one shoe. Ofc it's not my main but they have more been like the, " grocery shoes you just throw on to get the bags " type of deal, and I have tracked on quite some miles Maybe it's just me but I feel that would be interesting in comparison to other people's videos going over the early model UBs or 1 year reviews which are cool of course, but as I said, idk, I feel somthing is there on that topic

Wow, great video Doc!! I truly don't get why they don't sell this shoe. Could it be that they would have to make some changes to their supply chain and wouldn't translate into the same amount of revenue? For example these two models could be being manufactured in two different facilities or maybe quite apart in a large industrial plant and combining parts of both could slow down their process? I am just making an assumption, but there should have a reason preventing them from offering the three models (I think that if they were to sell the three of them, there would be a type of customer for each one) Keep the great videos coming Zach!

probably from earlier decisions and taking risks in design hoping to strike it gold or w/e. Dont know until they are out for that. Your point could also be true, after perhaps realizing this combo is better, the having diff locations each mat (that you perhaps correctly assess) could be inconvenient unless they make the adequate changes to add it later on in their line. This takes time. Designs are done waaaay before are released to public, for instance, soccer/football jersey designs are known 2 years in advance before hitting the market, a lot of setting up to do before they get out. The various models were done, to fit in as many consumer wallets/needs types and ranges to "fill up the bases" sort of speak. This is something thats expanding over the years. Usually the high tech/new tech is the higher up, that alone works that upcharge marketting, and goes down to cheaper but proven materials and setups, they just make them too look like each other to convince the moms and pops they are getting top model shoe. Shoe names also purposely chosen for similarity. So they could either go make a ton now, shift their might to catch up on the current designs, .....or wait until the next shoe versions are out and perhaps get that into account on the newer models as they are roughly ....2 years apart, would you look at that. lol
@LuchoVena3 жыл бұрын
also kinda also looks bad on them knowingly public now that a "lower tier" model is better than the line's flagship, at least , in this case, for tennis. if it happens, would be something like they are adding versions of the Vapor line's, they are experimenting a ton with recent releases. to save face, probably charge as high, but hoping they be lower

Oh boy Doc I feel like you're opening yourself up to get bombarded by a bunch of tennis players asking you to make them custom sneakers! Awesome video! Why do you think they don't make this iteration for the regular public? Not durable enough? Too expensive? I don't get why they wouldn't
@FootDoctorZach3 жыл бұрын
Haha I’ve already been hit up several times - a subscriber said he thought it’s because they’re made in different factories and the different assembly lines
@migsgovea53103 жыл бұрын
@@FootDoctorZach Interesting. Feels like they need to get on that! I'd buy these in a heartbeat. BTW I've been playing with the GP Turbo's thanks to your recommendation and I love them - maybe wish they were a little better ventilated now that it's getting super hot out but on the whole it's a small price to pay for what they give. And I've got a pair of Court FF"s on deck for when the nike's give out, all thanks to you and your videos. Thanks Doc. Great work on this channel all around

Awesome! Glad they’re working out for you, hope the FF’s do well

Your colorway on this is WAY better than Adidas’ grey/black LOL I would absolutely buy these being a Solecourt wearer for the last couple of years since they came out.
@FootDoctorZach3 жыл бұрын
Haha thank you- yeah up close they’re pretty slick looking - ironic thought because it was just a matter of what colorways in each shoe I could find at the time- ended up working out

It looks like Adidas took your advice and put in the Bounce foam into the New Barricade 2021 shoes yet to be released. Tsitisipas and Thiem has already dumped the Uber 4 and switched to the new barricade. Will you be reviewing the new Barricade 2021 ? Can you ask Adidas to send you a pair early so you can review them ?
@FootDoctorZach3 жыл бұрын
Yep I’ll review it- adidas never returns my messages so I’ll probably get it when it comes out
