Couple things to point out about "op" post scorers 1. I'm a shot post(only build I use) 2. Drop step on gold only works if the defender jumps first 3. 5'7 guards CAN block your shots(lay ups) while shooters are only affected by defenders within 3 inches of them (dam near gotta be perfect on everything) 4. Buckets only worth 2 (stretch and sharps don't even have to shoot greens all the time and their buckets worth 3) but somehow a little dude can push me out of a whole drop step animation 5. Get doubled teamed instantly 6. Layups WILL brick or airball (occasionally) 7. Spammers favor position to place against Yes takeover is Op. But this build takes patience and practice. And the only mode it's great on is the 2s, everything else is a struggle.

Hop shots and fades are highly skilled tough shots. And yes I do use them. But that doesn't take away from anything I mentioned before. I was talking specifically about drop steps and lay ups compared to jump shots by pure shooters(the actual most op position in the game) . 2k logic: 2 point shots are worth less than 3s but are some how harder to make. The point I was trying to make tho was that yes post scorers SEEM "op" but in actuality it takes alot of patience to be effective- couple that with the fact that this game doesnt value patience (I get spammed within 2sec on the block) and rewards ppl who abuse buttons.

Sounds like you’re just not good. Especially if you’re getting blocked by 5’7 player. If the double comes then pass out, that’s the reason you have dimer. Post scores can get bailed out with bad fades or hop steps Bc of difficultshots. They are op Bc their badges are all animations (dropstep postspin)
