Frontier needs to 100% make this a part of a future DLC!! The splash pad area is truly a huge part to any water park! Great work, looks so realistic!

Thank you! Yeah I'd love to see a modular system that let's use build ones that guests like
@CodexVR.14 сағат бұрын
Call it Modular Splash Pads, but i don't think it should be DLC. maybe a free update for basic packs, and then additional content for extra parts like water guns and buttons that spray water somewhere else. (I mean, shouldn't be Paid DLC.)
@meganbishop860414 сағат бұрын
@ absolutely agree!!
@Geekism14 сағат бұрын
@@CodexVR. When I say 'DLC', I'm thinking about how Frontier usually does it. So the actual gameplay feature (here being a modular splash pad, water jets etc) is actually a free update that comes alongside a DLC with scenery and a few rides/slide variants etc. I'd be surprised if they move away from this model

This entire series has been so cute so far, but the bucket ESPECIALLY so. I was half expecting the 'tippy' part of the, quote, 'tippy bucket thing' to be more implied, but with the animatronic features it came out looking really nice. I'm in the Planet Zoo boat, myself, but all of this new Planet Coaster 2 content has been really interesting. Introduced me to a lot of new people. For sure planning on sticking around

A lot of people have over exaggerated the living heck outta the situation for attention (I assume) or because they are overly negative! Don't listen to those people! Even Rudi Rennkamel after all the criticism he made says this game is already great in so many ways and easily better than the first game, no doubt! Don't let the negativity get to you:) This game's gonna be awesome!

I'm glad! Don't get me wrong, there are issues... but there's still a lot of awesome here!
@imaginationsquare17 сағат бұрын
@@Geekism every game has issues at release in the current industry, unfortunately:( I honestly think Frontier did a stunning job with this game! At the end of the day, Frontier could have paid for the most expensive game testers out there but even then the only people who can truly test the game for UI details like this is us, the people who have worryingly high amounts of hours in this game 😂 I 100% trust Planco 2 is of to an amazing start and in good hands with Frontier!:)
@mattjacobs121017 сағат бұрын
There were issues at launch with Planco1. No one seems to remember them....I certainly don't. Anyone remember the awful nighttime bug in RCT3? They fixed that within weeks of that game's launch. I personally don't care if there's no physics in the water slides, or if they have a flat bottom. Are the peeps riding them, and does it look good from just poking around? If yes, then I'm good.
@imaginationsquare16 сағат бұрын
@@mattjacobs1210 the main issue is the special elements that the game takes way too flipping fast and the fact they seemingly forgot to turn in camera smoothing on slides or something 😂 jokes aside the issue is that the camera *and "ride vehicles"* constantly jutter around which makes the POV extremely bad to watch, personally I don't care about the physics either, they just need a small extra layer of polish!:) No problem I believe they will do a great job!

I think the reason people aren't riding the slides is because the exit area isn't deep enough, I believe it needs to be pretty deep for that. Although it may just be a early access bug as well, not sure. Amazing work on the park so far, I can't wait to see the finished result

This looks really good and I'm really intrigued to see how this park goes! Could I just make a suggestion that you add a water fountain facing down out of the pipe above the bucket so it looks like it's being filled up? It doesn't have to be synced up to the event sequencer, as in real life it is always turned on even when the barrel is full. Maybe there's a different reason you didn't place it there, for which I'm sorry in advance for trying to correct you! Just a small detail I thought may add more kinetic energy ❤

Wow, amazing! You make it look so easy to build these but I know its not as easy as it looks. I really hope we end up getting a dlc pack dedicated to or that includes "Splash Zones" elements with building pieces and animatronics that relate such as the big tipping bucket, some trigger or automated splash fountains, spinning spray pipes along with pieces to mimic something similar to what you are busy putting together and perhaps the slide segments as building parts which don't need to function but can be used to create the illusion. Inflatables could also be fun. There are still a bunch of water related elements that they can bunch together in a DLC pack. Would love to see a wave rider / surf station that functions as a flat ride element. Maybe they can create a pathing system that works with wet zones / pools where you can create some of the walking bridges and stairs within the pool areas and theme around them?

I looove Archer Park, please make another compact park in Planco 2! But jump cuts are nice too, particularly when its just like, rockwork and foliage

This should be an in-game feature to have these play areas. I guess it’s pretty difficult to code if you want to allow people to build their own custom play areas. That’s why I was thinking to have about 5/6 of these empty climbing platforms (like you made them) and have the player being able to customize them (adding scenery, slides and these water guns as you’ve mentioned) in any theme they want just like the rides and coasters so it’s easy to develop by Frontier but still give the players the option to customize it and make it their own.
