Hey @geekism love your content You inspired me to start uploading this game after not doing youtube in 8+ years, thanks for the inspiration, keep doing gods work 🙏🏻

I believe that at 41:24 you mention a lack of people getting ready to ride the slide. In the new BIG update with slide physics in December I think multiple people can be on the slide at once which in assuming will fix that minor issue

I always forget that you're a fellow Londoner... I have so many childhood memories from Storybook Gardens 😅 Love the new area though, it definitely adds a sense of realism to the park. It would be awesome to see the game add some functional splash pad elements in the future.

I did not know you were colour blind! Kudos to you, you build very colourful things! 😍 And look at that, I’m all caught up as promised, keep up the good work Jonti, I’m loving the series 🫶

Would be cool to use the counter stalls available in game to create the “Cart” sales points for dots/soda/beer (not in game)…. Market stalls that are always spattered through parks.

Watching you make that bridge was really nifty, and the splash pad looks great! Brings back memories. Sept 1 is the first day of spring here in Australia so rain, hail or shine, I'd take out my swimmers and _insist_ on running through the sprinklers. Cue: my mum standing on the porch rugged up in 3 layers of jumpers shaking her head and wondering WTF she brought into this world. I'm in my 50s now so don't do that any more, but this is exactly the sort of place we used to visit a lot in the mid 70s to early 80s. Side comment: I recognise you have a life outside youtube, so this should in no way be considered a demand, but I really hope that some time in the future you'll consider an evening livestream so those of us in the Southern climes can join in while awake-ish. [10am EST is 1am AEST the next day]. If not, no worries, obvs.

You do really well with the split between play and content, I think. I thought, fleetingly, that I might share some of my FO4 settlements and ESO housing on YT (because sometimes it's just nice to show off your dollhouse, y'know?) but now that YT is such a Big Thing, I find the whole process a bit intimidating. Even googling how-tos, something I'm usually pretty good at, leads me to a whole lot of stuff about monetisation, marketing, theming your stuff, blah blah and I just want to know how to do a simple walk-through, description VO and nothing else just for friends to have a look at. Really makes me wish I'd not listened to my now ex-husband when he told me that making videos on the 'net was a "stupid idea" back in the 2000s, when my brain still functioned. Ah, well. 🤣 I love how this is turning out!

Late, I know, but there is something soothing about a timelapse (so long as it doesn't jump around so much one gets carsick, which is not something you do). It's just lovely seeing something slowly come together quickly. If that makes sense. I love your play area! And yes, the piping is yellow, and matches very well with the other colours. :D

That octopus on the ice cream is adorable. :D Also, as a redheaded Australian who got a horrific sunburn as a 1yo in Spain just from the sun bouncing off the white pavement (I was wearing a hat/sunscreen on my face; I ended up badly burnt under my chin), I was glad you broke up that pathing. Looks better, too, as well as being more sun smart and practical.

Pathing improvements, scaling and words on signs. Well. Sold. Time to finally 100% PlanCo 1 so I can justify buying PlanCo 2. ;)

I get what you're trying to say but the game still needs some dedicated sci-fi pieces. It will probably come as a dlc. Sci-Fi is my least fav theme as well.
@cellokopi2 күн бұрын
Not sure if this would work with what the game has at the moment but I think an octopus themed splash pad with water coming out of the tentacles would work really well!
@blakearmistead87853 күн бұрын
The reason that Pandora doesn’t have signage is because the Navi don’t have a written language. That is why you see such minimal signage and why you see the totems. The totems mark the attractions but also some other things around the land.
@Geekism2 күн бұрын
That might be the 'in world' explanation. It's a conscious choice to increase immersion. It's the same in Galaxy's Edge

Maybe instead of a first aid tent you can just put a little first aid kit or something on the side of the lifeguard's chair? like a red box with a white cross hanging on the side?

Wow I've been watching you for a while and insane I had no idea you were from London, ON. I work out of that city and went to Storybrook gardens when I was younger and recently walked past it! Insane what a small world this is. Love the content and the creativity you bring. Thanks for all you do.

Hello fellow Londoner. London does pretty well with the splash pads but I have to say the pad at storybook is the best I’ve seen in the entire city. Nice to see a KZbinr from London. Have you been to constitution park? The pad there is pretty good.

I love how you take the time to build something, like a splash pad, that reads as such, even though the guests will never use it. Those details really tie your work together.

The Hekawi Tribe are from the mid-60s American sitcom "F Troop". They were originally to have been the Fugawi but that didn't make it past the network censors.

I cant even get people in the pools?! Hundreds of people in the park but not a single person in the pool.
@yt-mull0r3 күн бұрын
Have you placed down changing rooms? And Information shops? Play the first career mode challenges to learn it. My pools tend to fill up very very quickly. Too quickly even, the hotfix coming out anytime soon will even make pools slower to fill up. So, I think you are doing something wrong! Let me know what you think
@shanedixon2323 күн бұрын
Yep definitely have them placed down and near the pool. Im on console (PS5) The third career map (I think) is at the beach and had guests start to swim in the pool but as soon as I built something else they all went elsewhere and no-one in the pool after. A million people trying to squeeze down a path to get to a coaster but no-one in the pools or anything else!

Dave and Busters is a massive chain in the US. Chucky Cheese with beer is a pretty spot on description. More so designed for adults and families.
