Characters with big eyes need to be slightly cross-eyed to look right, if you look at the frozen characters their irises are slightly central. It's counter-intuitive so she probably just put them where they realistically would go but because the eyes are disproportionate you need to counter that. So that's why I think it's turned out like that. On a proportioned face it wouldn't look so wonky. Still beautiful though!

And the white part of her eyes came out super dark. Almost greenish. It's the first doll she makes that I hate her eyes, she looks high or even evil with that murky color.

Look in a magnifying mirror, you will see your own irises don't perfectly match and are always wonky 😉 That's why hers look so realistic. I'm a portrait artist I've had too many years dealing with the wonkiness of faces lol

Im usually not a fan of the iredecent and glittery paints, and i feel most doll artist tend to use them too much. But with this doll, it looked absolutely amazing. It suited the Elsa doll so well. Especially the outfit was so elevated with the use of the iredecent paint. Love it.

Beautiful! I'm wondering, why do you draw the eyes looking off to one side? I ask because I do portraits, and the secret to make eyes look right at the viewer is to cross them a tiny bit. It does look intense, like the eyes follow you, and it can look creepy on a doll. Annabelle lol I draw the first iris facing forward, then the second iris I draw a tiny bit closer to the middle. Sometimes just drawing the pupil towards the middle a teeny tiny bit creates the illusion. Just wanted to share, if anyone wants their doll's eyes to look very real/intense. ❤

You paint just like my mom painted. My mom has been gone for 16 years. My mom owned a ceramic shop. She had molds & would pour the ceramics. She had paint and other things to sell. There were 2 kilns in her shop. But like you she painted to see a character. She didn't follow any instructions. The things she made and painted. They were prettier than anyone elses. So I guess what I'm trying to say. Is you do Beautiful work. I Love Watching you every week. Keep it up. ♥️ To me her stuff looked Beautiful.

I'm always so impressed with the depth and dimension you achieve with the eyes on these larger faces. She looks so much better, and the iridescent paint just adds something extra to the overall effect. Plus, I know I've said this before, but how do you get the doll's original paint off with all that acetone without completely wrecking your nail varnish? Mine always gets ruined. 😸❤❄

She used Gel Nails polish, It takes a whole lot more than then what's on that little pad to remove the Gel polish. Plus, you can see she doesn't let it touch her nails.

Honestly, when you were about 3/4 through the repaint, she started reminding me of Georgina Heig, who played live-action Elsa on Once Upon A Time. And when you were finished, that impression really stuck: I'd call that mission accomplished!

It would be cool to see a doll where you only make over half of it. Leave the original face and hair and clothes on one side, maybe a little polished up/styled, but then do a complete make over on the other side. Really high light how much the doll changes when you do these amazing things.

She looks beautiful. The only critique I would have is her purple eyeshadow is a bit too much for her. I believe her eye shadow doesn't go past her lids so while her eyes are wide open you should barely see the shadow. But that its all. Your big doll heads are my favorite! Your Elsa makeover is so pretty. The sculpt here feels off and looks far more like Anna than Elsa to me out of the box. But your paint job overcame those issues and completely brought out Elsa. Feels like night and day comparing the before and after. Amazing work!

I love your work, I think it’s beautiful. I would just say to pay attention to the symmetry of the Iris. One side has more of the whites of the eyes showing underneath than the other and also, she looks like she’s looking in two directions. Try covering one eye with your hand and picture where the other eye should be placed. Once you remove your hand, you’ll be able to see if the eyes are symmetrical or not❤
