Despite her being a princess from the beginning of the movie she never made the official Disney Princess line up (which is a bit of a controversy as Mulan made the line up despite not being a princess at all but being very (!) popular)

I'm going back and watching all of your videos again and again. Absolutely NO ONE does doll artistry the way you do. I am just amazed at your detailed work. The layers in the eyes, water line, the shadows, it takes patience and dedication but more than that you have a very specific style that no one else can replicate. My favourite Disney princess is Kida from the movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire. She rules what's left of the Atlantis, is incredibly athletic and speaks all the languages of the world. Plus she ended up marrying a linguist, and I also am a linguist so that makes me like her even more! Maybe you would be interested in recreating Kida some time?

I called her that because a book I read a while back had her come to terms with her identities as Briar Rose and Princess Aurora, and the author chose to express her acceptance of herself as a mixture of the two as her deciding to be called Aurora Rose. I really liked it, both because it sounds nice and because I enjoy stories about finding yourself. I've been calling her Aurora Rose ever since.

I am very happy to see that you went for a more 'accurate' outfit and not the original Disney one. And I agree 100% with you on how Jasmine's outfit changed in your eyes the older you got. Looking back on it now, it seems a little too Americanized ( or Westernized). I feel like at the time they could have done more research, like how they did with the Moana movie.
