What’s the point of having an FX3 if you are mainly using cine glass? Isn’t a red komodo more suited for your style Maybe it’s a dumb question
@MaikHansen Жыл бұрын
No it's not a dumb question at all. There are a couple of reasons: 1. I was used to the sony system from my previous cameras 2. I can use all of my equipement I already baught (memory cards, still lenses, etc.) 3. Better Value for money in my opinion 4. Faster workflow/ smaller file sizes (also costs less to archive all the footage) That are the main reasons I focused on when I decided to buy a new camera - I hope that answers your question :)

I've been watching your videos, you have an amazing film gear. I also have this amazing talent of writing film scripts and I'm thinking of selling it. Trust me you won't regret it, give me a chance 🙏🏾
@MaikHansen Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Anyways I'm not interested in buying film scripts :)

You have the gear, you know how to use it. Go get a client and make $8000 next week telling their story.

You seem to be from USA judging from the videos you uploaded. Here in Europe it’s a bit harder to just go and do this. People here spend less in marketing than in USA. Also they are more likely to overlook quality if they can get a lower price here in most EU countries.

I love that energy!! 😍 And that's what I meant when I said that the camera already paid off if I see it like this 😅 When I am doing a 1 day shoot I still charge 300€ per day for that camera. But I can scale that production endlessly. I'm charging for Recce, Concept, my lights, my lenses, directing, editing, grading, music licens - so again: basically the camera paid off a long time ago 🙏🏼

And I do agree on this too! I find it hard to get into new clients. I feel like there is at least 2-3 month of writing mails, calling to build that relationship before the first production can start... But I also want to focus on filmprdoctions/ Marketing agencies. They already got the contact to the client, worked on that script and I can just join for the shooting part :)

@ehhh guarantee there are small solo agencies in EU making $1m in revenue yearly. it’s more about having someone working sales for your services. $4k is what small mom/pop shops spend here in the states, corporate clients spend $15k-$100k for projects like testimonials, internal training videos, event recording, etc. EU companies still need these services so focus on your sales strategy to work with them.
