I Make a Flintstones Car…CAN WE WALK IT AROUND?

Is it possible to walk around a car like Fred Flintstone? I cut apart a real car to create a Flintstones cartoon car in real life. We removed the drivetrain, transmission, engine, doors and more to get rid of as much weight as possible. Then I cut through the floor and we dropped our feet down to walk it like Fred, Barney and Wilma. After some aesthetic improvements to make it look like stone, wood and animal print, of course. No gas, no emissions, only prehistoric foot power... and one dinosaur.

Now you need to drive the car through a parade! Back in the late 70’s when I went to college in Sheldon, Iowa the local teens would cruse around one city block going both ways. Because there were two traffic lights you could actually walk around the block faster than you could drive. Four college kids decided to cruse around the block with only four tires. Your Flintstone car would be perfect there.😉

Here's a suggestion for a high performance Flintmobile. Turn the passenger and rear seats around so they can push with their feet instead of pulling. They'll be using their legs more efficiently and have better traction. For maximum power, speed, and excitement, reverse the driver's seat as well...

I recently tore down a lawnmower in an attempt to fix it. After it was determined it was beyond worthwhile repair I decided to continue the teardown of everything including the engine.
