When my mom was still young she went out to dinner with my aunt, my grandma and my grandpa. My aunt ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri, my mom decided that sounded good and ordered one as well. When they were brought to the table, my mom threw a hissy fit because she didn't know it would have strawberries in it(she assumed it was only strawberry flavor). My aunt ended up drinking both of them and getting sick on the way home. After that, any time my grandpa had a chance he bought my mom something strawberry themed as a gag gift. After he died, about 15 years ago now, I picked up the mantle and started buying mom strawberry theme stuff to tease her I bought her the last strawberry soap you did for this reason, and she ended up absolutely loving it! She does love strawberry flavor and scent, she just doesn't actually like strawberries themselves because of the texture from the seeds.

I think proprietary blends are just blends that don't tell you the exact ratios of mixtures because that mix "belongs" to the producer hence the name "proprietary"

Fun tip for the Renaissance fair, stop at your bank and ask to exchange paper money for dollar coins. Carry those around in your pouch and use them to buy stuff at the fair, you'll feel more immersed buying things with "gold coins" :) They're kind of heavy though so keep that in mind when deciding how much money to exchange.

Well, strawberry candy is flavored 2 ways: using dehydrated strawberries ground into a dust (which honestly is best way for flavoring baked goods, if you want powerful strawberry flavor, use dehydrated strawberry powder) OR using an artificial mixture of chemicals that are found in strawberries. One chemical that's used alot in flavoring and scents for strawberry is actually an oil secretion from a gland in beaver butts. (It's used for raspberry and banana smell/flavors too)

Watched with my twin granddaughters before preschool - they were spellbound and want to watch more this afternoon. I love Strawberry - I watch every video & look fw to everyone. I pick up color ideas and something from each one you have been a major inspiration. Loved hearing about the embed mold I have one 4 cavity strawberry mold - I have probably 50 molds at least now - some still require I pour several times. Not the best use of time I have more time than money. I made one Strawberry Shortcake Soap and everyone Loves it, it's huge but they end up selecting others to buy. They say they would never use it. Not a question just some praise, but I started using shampoo bars this year. I started with a well-known shampoo bar seller cause I thought they were good, but between the price, size, and grittiness, I wasn't satisfied. On a whim, I decided to get the Rose-Colored Splashes shampoo bar that you sell. I loved the smell of it, the lather, and it lasted 2 months. I recommend them to everyone I know, and outside of the times when I dye my hair, Rose-Colored Splashes is the only shampoo I want to use.
