I loved my rush evo back in the day. Got it brand new as a "returned used" item. Absolutely bashed the car to death. No issues. I was racing the car against friends so I purchased a XTM engine (forgot the size). I bolted straight in but the exhaust needed some bending from the wheel. That engine was f**king mental. It wheelied, flipped on full throttle and it was so easy to tune. The original engine did lose a bit of compression. Still started and sounded good but, it was very difficult to tune. I just wanted speed. I wish I never got rid of it.

Another great video buddy, very well explained about rounded off bolts, tightening down the head, wear in the sleeve, the old trick of putting oil in for the air bubble’s explains to the not so mechanical minded just how a 2 stroke works, being around 2 strokes all my life virtually I totally get what your saying, you should of been a mechanical engineer teacher at a college lol. Take care matey.

Agree with the trick or treating thing! Just because it's tradition, it doesn't mean its any less dangerous. Also having recently been to the south of England, I can confirm that people seem less friendly the further south you are. 😂 I'd like to share a tip for rounded hex bolts which may help some one, I tend to gently hammer on the allen key that is the next size up, and then once it is off, yank the rubbish bolt off with some pliers or something. Best to use a cheaper Allen key though in case the bolt doesn't wish to part ways! I hope that will help some and I know it isn't an orthodox method but it hasn't failed me yet. Cheers for another great video, Haggard.

It’s American tradition created by companies to sell products. Not British. And the Allen key trick is well used In the full size mechanic scene. And it’s a good tip!

Ha ha, you're right about time, older you get the quicker it goes..I'm sure someone is stealing mine😊 Great tutorial for someone new to nitro/2 strokes, main thing is to make sure there's no dirt in the bolts before trying to undo. Us midlanders talk to anyone..well most people. Enjoy.

I started out with EMaxx with my brother when I was a kid, then in Jr High I got a TMaxx and my brother got a Revo. And a little while later my stepdad wanted me to build a HPI 5b. I loved working on nitro engines, but eventually I put the piston in the wrong way around. And my truck didn’t run right for about 10 years. Just got it running about a month ago. Spent all that time thinking it was the carb😂😅😂
