I make this at home and have for years! Personally, I really enjoy the flavor of the capers and their flavor is a big part of the classic piccata. It hurt my heart to see you drain and rinse them. I’ve always added a spoon of the juice. But never red pepper flakes, will need to try to add that ingredient to my recipe! ❤️
