Today I'm gonna be preparing & cooking Vietnamese style Spring Rolls! This dish is a must try, must cook & MUST EAT!
I'll be taking you through the entire process, from what fillings to use & how to prepare them, how to roll, fry, and fry again! Then we'll make the famous & utterly irresistable nouc mam dipping sauce.
All the ingredients are mentioned in the video, I don't go by exact measurements when cooking, but if you follow my method when you make them yourselves, you should be fine.
One thing to take note on, with the dipping sauce is that ALL fish sauces, vinegars & sugars vary from brand to brand, so keep tasting the sauce as you might have to make some small tweeks. Usually 95% of the time the sauce might need added water & sugar, so keep this in mind!
I seriously miss Asian food, especially Vietnamese, so I couldn't resist making the rolls today. It's been too long since I've eaten them, so it just had to be done. These Spring rolls are an perfect starter dish if hosting a dinner party, it's ALWAYS a winning dish!!
