I did this swap on my channel too! Except not as instructive haha. You really are diy! The auto brake pedal may be turned into a manual but you’d need a mount pressed into the auto one and i couldn’t find it, it’s not just plug and play and for anyone without MHD you can also clear all the automatic trans faults but using NCSExpert and resetting the vehicle features. When you power the car back on it communicates with all the modules and since it won’t see an automatic trans module it’ll think it’s a manual and no faults. This swap is actually the easiest thing in the world, all plug and play! Like you said. It’s a whole new car

Due to a torque converter failure, I've swapped a 2004 E46 Sedan 325i from automatic to manual transmission, including all the necessary electrical wiring and coding for emissions compliance, PDC, cruise control, etc. It was a lot of fun, and the car now drives perfect. Took me in sum 5 working days to complete the swap. Additionally, I have a 2012 E91 330d xDrive with the ZF 6HP26Z or 6HP28 transmission for 9 years, but it’s showing signs of transmission wear (under heavy load, I’ve experienced the clutch E slipping once, likely due to bushing wear). Your videos have inspired me now to consider an MT swap for this car as well, especially since I believe the xDrive version was also available with a manual transmission from the factory.
