what i like about this drama is that they were both minors when they met, no creepy grooming, ML never took advantage of FL who is adjusting in her married life, shes still childish, but not an annoying brat, she appreciates ML’s efforts and understanding,no vicious step mom step sis, no betrayal of friend, theres a scumbag ex of FL but this is mainly focus on how they slowly accepting and loving each other

Good drama. Love how the ML didn’t rush her and gave her time to adjust. She learned to love him back but really accepted him once she found out what he had been doing for her. No abuse or green tea that comes between them. It’s all about how to love each other. Happy ending.

I didnt see any other version than this one this was a really good play he was patient and she was still like a little girl shy and childish....the moment she opened up she fell in love he was carrying and she needed just that sense of security love and freedom

I found it and watched it but for me this is 100 times better that those two in there ml looks like he is 40 years and she 23-25 if she is just 2-3 years younger they should be young no proper explanation why and how she went through the depression not much chemistry between fl and ml it seems like forced version didnt fell much.....Yang is so natural and you can see and feel every emotion much more skilled actress from some older...

I actually like this version alot some people complained that the FL is a bad kisser but I think that fits her character she's lived a very sheltered life because of what happened when she was young and never kissed anybody so there's no way she'd be somehow good at it I've seen both of the other versions and I like them too but this one I think they cleared up the misunderstandings in a faster way

So tell me someone who never kissed before i mean the kiss with the person you love how good a kisser would you be....she is emotionally detached she had trauma early in life going through the depression not having much friend except yaoyao and the other one,bad previous relationship with scum so first part is her opening and second part when she learned what he doing for her and that miss Zhao is the girlfriend of her dead brother.....i saw the two other versions of this,not so good as this one he is older than her but not 15 years older,no chemistry between ml&fl everything us forced no proper explanation why and how she got and went through the depression...you dont have to be a good kisser to do intimate scenes ir kissing scenes....lit older actresses doing fake scenes its a kiss not sex scene you are not betraying you partner you are acting or dont act at all dont do kiss scene if you cant

I watched this once before and remember being baffled by FL behaviour early on, but I realised this time, the character is written with signs of emotional detachment disorder. It's a very specific kind of mental illness that often goes hand in hand with severe trauma (but can go without). FL only having a few friends, and not really listening to ANYONE are some of the more obvious characteristics. People with this illness have trouble making lasting connections, especially deep emotional connections. It completely explains how FL acts in early married life, and her almost ambivalent response to having a fiance, it being not who she thought, workplace changes. None of those seem to really affect her daily life, because she is hard to be moved, emotionally. It's like it is all happening to someone else.

❤❤❤ RECOMMENDED ❤❤❤ I've seen about 3 versions of this plot, and with more well-known actors... but I must say... this version portrayed the characters the best!!! I particularly like how, in this version the ML although aloof with other ppl, he used a soft and gentle tone when speaking to FL. He also made her feel safe and would ask her to kiss him, instead of forcing her to kiss him. 💯 for creating a safe space for her ❤ this actress FL is very good at facial expressions. Her interpretation of character is best because FL is supposed to be very young and inexperienced in life except for the trauma she survived. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I almost finished watching it. I’d love to see the FL actress in other dramas. She’s sweet and talented. ML has a peaceful inner glow and he’s charming acting suits him well. I loved the fact that the script was clean, was making sense, was concentrated on their unusual relationship and had more common sense than most of the drama scripts.
